When the internet was good.

Both Warren G & DJ Quik dropped classics back then. I seem to remember the Death Row website changing all the time. Wasn't it Death Row 2000 at one point?

Ahh the good old days when you could get internet access just by popping in one of those free 500 hours disc you found in the mail and taking your mothers phone line hostage. That was a simpler time.

It wouldn't make a difference, it's not like anything to released post-Against The Grain and even then it wasn't releasing good shit. post Daz. I'll give Wideawake credit, that despite the fuckery, and shitty mixxing at the very least it managed to release SOMETHING.

I know that, but I wasn't referring to 1996. I was referring to 1998, when Warren G and DJ Quick both dropped classics. I remember it well. Had free sites from Lycos (angel fire) and there were a few good geocities sites from yahoo. I had in-california.net and worked on west coast aftershock. They were better days in my opinion. Less content, but far more activity
