Does he have same vocals as Akon?
-
No.

Rip Nate Dogg!!!!! Fuck akon!

the original featured Nate Dogg but Dre didn't wanna release it out of respect for the family, so he had Sly come in and re-do it

Really

GTFO with that bs. "Hmmm. Nate is dead and I've got some vocals here that I could use on my comeback single. The fans love our chemistry and his family could do with the income. Nah duck it. I'll just get some soubdalike clone to name drop my headphones for a couple of bars instead. Much more respectful that way"
Dre tried to pull a fast one as there were no spare Nate vocals, as evidenced by warren g and his cut and paste looping recently so he got his clone in there and pretend leaked the cut out with no credits to see how people responded. Cue the whole net saying "what's wrong with nates vocals and why didn't he do the hook instead of a little verse?"
Had people not clicked you can guarantee he would have been all up in the mix for subsequent releaes as Nate was instrumental to Dres formula for quite some time now and was part of his trademark sound.

Why don't you enlighten us further if you have something that contradicts my opinion, other than your own opinion that is.

I've never heard that, it was never confirmed why Nate Dogg wasn't on Kush, I always assumed it was because of his issues with the strokes, because from I recall he didn't release any music for awhile after, and few months after Kush release, he died from the multiple strokes.

More likely hook was intended to be done by Nate Dogg.

I think Warren G doesn't have rights to unreleased material. As messed up as it sounds, there was a deal to release another album on a new label.

I don't think Nate Dogg's voice would have suited the chorus to 'Kush'. The bridge that Sly Piper does obviously would have since it sounds like him.
