most definitely peeping this, it's been years since a project from this dude
-
A lot of features but this is hot tho a few of the "conscious" tracks including the Kendrick one I'm not really feeling but that one with currensy and Q is one of the best songs of the year so far for me that beat is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
-
So far everything i've heard has been HEAT. Waiting for my cd to come in the mail. FAB might've dropped the Best album of 2016 so far. That chill joint. flames!
-
probably his best body of work IMO despite there being hella features, but they all serve their purpose and nothing comes off as just quickly thrown together
Fab got much better lyrically too, will cop this if I see it around

It's definitely his best work but the features kind of bother me for one reason and one reason only....I don't want him to become the Bay Area version of Game and make songs where he sounds like the artists featured on them...he has his hyphy cut with 40 and keak,he has the down south track, the track with 2chainz, that one with tech....it doesn't take away from how good it is as a whole but it's disheartening to realize he's doing that because the bay lacks that distinct sound and culture it used to have....compare this to his first son of a pimp and you'll see one is deep rooted in the culture and one is like a copy and paste of different styles....dope album but a sad reality

I agree to an extent, the "hyphy" sound he technically helped bring to the forefront which is what most modern big producers are jacking for the radio these days so I don't see it as trend hoping all the way with him

Pretty good album but it's going in too many directions and it sounds more like a compilation imo, first one was way better imo
-

Im not a fan of mistah fab. i always thought his music sucks but i will admit that this album is a good album. son of a pimp by mistah fab is worth buying

The reason it might sound a bit like a mish-mash of styles to some is because Fab has been sitting on some of these songs for a lot of years. Some of these are dated 2009-2010 whenever he had plenty of features for mixtapes, but just never dropped them, saving them for a major project instead. Pretty solid album nevertheless
