considering i ain't got no studio, what programs you run to make your beats?
i'n looking for something with more hip hop options, i found quite a few recommended programs but half the shit is rave sounding techno stuff that just ain't gon' cut it, hit me back, peace yall

try fruity loops
-
you like that one? i tried it but i couldn't really find anything to make a nice rap beat
is that what u use?
-
Yeah fruityloops is good, if u don't have any proper equipment.
Turn the tempo down so the beat is slower. I normally put it around 100.
The samples provided are pretty wack so download ur own. Just search on the net for the sites. But here's a good site: http://www.oneshotsamples.com/

koo koo, not a pro or anything but i will see what i can do,
thankz bro
any other suggestions too? i want one with turn tables an shit that uses mp3's
-
Fruity loops only take Wav files, so just get a program that can convert mp3's to Wav files.
I don't use the turntables. If you want to do that you will need to get get some decks cause computer scratching programs are pathetic.

what i use is a cubase sx with NI-battery and lm4 mark 2 witch are both drum vstis to do beats and to do every thing else i use a bunch of vstis like trilogy for bas and a pro 53 for synths but to get all that it might take you a while trilogy is 5 cds

I am a master of the fruity loops, I'm just pathetically slow.
