Title: 2Pac & Yummy Sandifer
Post by: MOBNigga06 on January 30, 2017, 07:46:44 AM
Just been reading up on Robert "Yummy" Sandifer and I gotta say: I think his story had a big influence on Tupac's work.

Pac dedicated "Young Niggaz" to Yummy, but if you read about Yummy's story, you can tell that Pac is talking about it again on "Lil Homiez" and "Shorty Wanna Be A Thug."

I think Pac is also alluding to the Yummy story in "Mama's Just a Lil Girl" and  "Never B Peace," when he talks about kids that don't have childhoods anymore.

Read about Yummy and you'll see how the story of his life made a big impression on Pac.

Sounds like a good read?

You can find a lot of media about Yummy if you google his name, but the Wikipedia page does a good job of summarizing it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Sandifer

There's also the whole story about Tupac calling out the Black Disciples for having Yummy killed, which led to the BD shooting up one of Pac's concerts. Pac was fucking crazy. And a real ass nigga. Doubt this story will be in the Tupac movie but I applaud Pac for this.
