He's recovering & his shooter is arrested.  I just hope Big Papi leaves the DR & lives in boston.  So what if the crab bucket people complain that he 4got where he came from just because he wants 2 live somewhere else.  There's a gr8 reason people leave where they used to live.  Fools don't care who they rob.  UFC fighters getting robbed in their home country of brazil.  There been stories of past mlb players getting robbed, attacked, & killed cause they chose to stay in their country.

Now, the shooter says David wasn't the target.  It was supposed to be his cousin.  If you're gonna be putting a hit on someone or be a professional hitman, make sure you can aim.  Stop hitting innocent people.  Now David is forever scarred, having a couple of parts removed from him.

Yeah... so Ortiz wasn’t a target?  He just accidentally shoots like the most famous guy in the country at that time?

I mean Ortiz is of course the victim, he got shot, so I’m not putting any blame on him.  But I think they wanna keep his image clean for all the white MLB fans and don’t want to admit he was hanging wit drug bosses, and there may of been some kind of extortion, or retaliation, or “disciplining” or other gang related activity.
