It depends on demand.
All I can say, this slaps. Snoop came hard on it. Quik is smooth af. Only thing what I don't like is Bustas feature. Other than that, album slaps.

did dre mix any songs? im more curious about that busta joint that focus... produced and you already call it the weakest link :(

Yes he mixed two songs. The one with Snoop and the White Power (B-Real destroyed that track). You can hear his touches all over that song.
It's not about production, Rick Rock, Focus... and Dem Jointz did awesome job on this, it's pure Aftermath squad but Busta comes with Raggae thing and it's not something I enjoy.
BTW, there's a song produced by Focus... with X and Busta for Focus...'s album. Wait til you people hear that, it's a banger.
-
This going to be some hardcore shit.
Focus compilation in the works too, sweet.

About time someone in hip-hop said something against the fear being spread right now and about the government trying to put us on indefinite lockdowns in our homes.

Focus was about to release it a few months ago but i think he delayed it after he lost his son.

This whole album isnkinda about that.
There's some funny shit said about lockdown, corona and peoples behaviour st the last song. X is savage.
-

Yeah the song is called Family First. Man X and Busta have chemistry.
-
comin next week?
like Black thought. wow!

yeah, and the dre comin gossip(!) thread is bout 8 pages now?
-
LostAngle is correct, album is strong. I also agree that the Busta track is the weakest link. Usually hyped for Busta features but this one fell flat. Album been on repeat for a bout 8days. Have a homie that knows X so I get a lil early love like LostAngle. Folks will enjoy the album though.

Wait so Xzibit has released 3 group albums under the name Serial Killers and I'm only hearing about it now?
-
yes.
sorry bro, u live under a rock...
the serial killers went tour too...
-
weren’t they all mixtapes?
mixtapes are albums that werent mixed and mastered professionally. mixtapes sound like compilations of demos and various tracks which doesnt have a main theme and common sound like a solo album. mostly mixtapes include other artists' older famous beats.
long time ago artists were releasing their some stuff as mixtape on internet without a label. nowadays we think if any artists release something for only streaming, we think its a mixtape. no, thats what music business is all about nowadays. its all about streaming and internet today.
all serial killers albums are mixed and mastered very properly, each albums has its own theme and sound. they didnt rap on any other artist' beat which was released before.
only 1st album is a little bit close to call "mixtape" but they saw it worked that way and they released next albums in same way so today we cant call them mixtapes. thats how they prefer to release.
here are the 3 albums for who wants to listen. 1st album is still my favorite with Ill Bill's productions. 3rd album sounds like an xzibit album, you will understand what i mean when you listen to it.

I am INFINITE TRAPPED IN 1996! I never moved on and I don't keep up with new stuff.
I spend my time digging for old albums that I may have missed when they were around. Like today I was bumping Adventures of Slick Rick. I'd much rather dust off a proven gem from the past then try forcing myself to like the new music which is mostly trash--just because it's new and people feel obligated. And there's no way anybody had time to have given proper attention to every good album that ever came out in the 80's and 90's. Plus ITunes has made everything available now would've been too expensive before. Even the television and movies I watch are old 80's 90's stuff that is now available on Youtube.
That said, it's Xzibit—so there are some exceptions where I usually try to keep up.
-
thast why u miss a lot of cool think, like serial killaz.
-
xzibit released "quarantine" song produced by Dem Joints on IG yesterday but today that post is deleted. that wasn't special to me. i'm still not used to dem jointz' style.
-
Here you can buy the first 3 albums on usb, https://openbarent.com/collections/music/products/day-of-the-dead-vinyl-usb
I really hope this comes out on cd and was xzibit not supposed to drop a solo album “king maker” this year?

i enjoyed the accurate explanation u gave. I hate when words meanings change with time. R 'n B which stand for Rhythm 'n Blues sounded different back in the days.

-
checkn right now!
-
anota actual album, like PE, or Paris, or Celly Cel, but this time not with trump, the election, or BLM, but the covid situation is loud on here.
The album totally fit with the previous materials of the group, i really hope they releasin cd afterall for the 4th album.
Xzbit lead the group this time (again) IMO.
-
Dre's mixes don't even stand out that much imo
Album's a 8/10 for me atm, but I'm obviously going to listen to it some more and could change my opinion about it.
I'm not the kind of guy that leaves albums in the dust after listening to them 2,3 times (when it comes to artists I really like, that is).

This project is hilarious, they bustin' jokes at the Corona fallout.
-
This album was excellent. I'm amazed we had a hip hop album in 2020 that discussed Trump, BLM, Covid, and the lockdowns. I regret not checking out the Serial Killers first three albums sooner, which I skipped originally because I was burnt out on Xzibit after being disappointed with Man vs. Machine and Weapons of Mass Destruction, both of which I bought and found to be very mixed bags and Full Circle, which I skipped entirely. In fact, I didn't even listen Napalm until like four years after it came out.

I like the rhymes, lyrics and flow from all 3 emcees I just feel it's still missing some bangers. Feels like there's snares all over the place in so many songs, I struggle to get into those types of beats.

Is it?
It’s a banger!!!! X is my favorite rapper!
