this is confusing....bcuz when fat joe and napoleon did stream together...it was discussed that fat joe asked his ppls in jail to look after pac...unless joe changed his mind aftr pac came out.
another thing...still to this day we havent heard any of these songs
-
I didn’t give a fucc how many friends this guy has in the industry...
Bottom line Fat Joe ain’t made one banger in his career and is one of the most over-rated in the industry. I ain’t payin no mind to what this dude says

"Jealous One's Envy" and "Don Cartagena" are both classic albums and so is the first Terror Squad album.

Damn. I can see why people these days could hate Joe, but he came from DITC and his older music is dope. It's crazy he can still come up with hits.

not sure but pun still > tash

Fat Joe is the reason you didn't get to hear Cuban Links debut album which was the dopest cut of the era and would've changed the game:

Head and shoulders above so many rappers of the time in terms of flow, lyrics, beat selection, everything but Joe can't stand the idea of someone in his camp shining, esp one that actually was close to Pun and knew the truth about the deal.
-
not sure but pun still > tash
To say the truth I wasn’t even a fan of Pun—but I like Pun and respect him and recognize his talent.
...but come on homie West Coast headz gotta put Tash over Pun
Can anyone confirm Tash Latin? Maybe I’m trippin.. or he’s half?

Nah it ain't like you gonna put someone over someone else just cause they are from your Coast.. I wasn't saying that... I only meant that Tash is kind of one of those artists that is big in his region, like West Coast headz love Tash but outside of the West Coast purists he's not really known..
..it ain't that deep homie, like I said I respect Pun and his talent if you wanna put him over Tash I don't have a problem with that.
Fucc it maybe I will do a poll or something cause I would think most West Coast headz would prefer Tash subjectively speaking
-
Who had the best verse on this track?

Then consider that Nas went back and rewrote his bars after hearing Pun.

J.O.E (Jealous one's envy) and Represent are both dope LP's if you're into early-mid nineties NY production. Before he went commercial. D.I.T.C.
Have you never heard Success, Part Deux or Respect Mine? He's got KRS on the intro, pretty much hip-hop classic.
But yeah, I always thought he was down with Pac, surprised about this. Any idea what his beef with Pac was about?
