Title: What If Snoops No Limit Debut Was A Double Disc Album!!!
Post by: Tha Crip on June 12, 2021, 05:37:19 PM
Since Snoop only made Da Game...in a few weeks time with Beats by The Pound doing most of the production...it dont sound like the usual Snoop album...so I cut off all but 4 tracks from the retail and used other tracks Snoop was involved with during his No Limit era...edited songs/sequenced everything perfectly!!!

Good shit  8) Got rid of the southern gumbo sound and made it G-Funk. However, tracks 12, 19, and 20 were recorded while he was still signed to DR ( and trying desperately to leave).

This is an innovative way to create an alternate version. I enjoyed the debut on No Limit, despite the lack of g-funk.

"Hooked" was so dope 8)

this was the exact reason I never liked it...if I wanted a No Limit album I would check out any of the ones that they would release every 2 weeks

made for a crazy summer in rap I'll never forget this album dropping... the project it came with one of those low budget No Limit films, and it was the first and only "midnight sale" I ever had the pleasure of attending for an album drop.  Master P did great promotion because the project was a big deal.... but like a lot of No Limit material (outside of I'm Bout It being the one exception IMO) it was all hype and the quality was terrible

Maybe the Crip version here is tight.. it's got a lot of Meach production
