YOURSELF THAT ANY NEGATIVE FEELING OR THOUGHT THAT MAY CREEP UP ON YOU IS ROOTED IN LIES AND SHOULD BE DISREGARDED. and if you constantly are telling yourself this as opposed to feeling bad for yourself and making excuses, you’ll eventually grow out of it, slowly but surely. i promise.
we all need to check ourselves regularly. some people more than others. believe that wit all your heart and you’ll see what i mean.
I'm actually doing that today
Despite the negative commentary in my mind I'm saying "No. I won't listen to this. I'm going to enjoy this good news and ignore all attempts to ruin my day" "I'm not going to focus on the negative dialogue. I'm not feeding into it." "This isn't real. Despite all the bullshit that happens. Despite the constant corruption. Despite the abuses. I'm going to try to fully enjoy my day and live in the moment rather than constantly live in anticipation of the next attack, the next episode, the next nightmare"
That said, I don't get my hopes up very often. I've got evidence of abuse of both myself and possessions and I'm very adept at differentiating between reality and delusion given the opportunity. I'm at risk. This will always be a reality for me. If you're only going to support me when I'm positive then I don't need you.

I'm actually in a really good mood today but that's because I received good news in regards to accommodation
It doesn't mean I'm safe
It doesn't mean the last 20 years of my life just dissipated into nothingness
So I'm hesitant to actually try to start anew as I've been starting over and over and over and over and over and over for the last 2 decades
Life is cruel to a lot of people
We have momentary joys and long periods of grief
That coupled with my illness instills a sense of mistrust
