This Persian cat rite here is from tha bay area....
He competed in tha Mtv battle of MCs shit.....
1000 MCs, down to 500, down to 16 & now down to 8.....
LOCKSMITH made it all da way thru, Make sure to tune in at 2PM (West Coast Time) On Mtv.....
Those 8 MCs will go head 2 head tha whole show and tha winner gets a DEF JAM contract.....I got my bet on LOCKSMITH.....Arguably tha best West Coast battler rite now.....He seriously can't be touched.....
I'm in talks for a collabo with him rite now.....
He reps that whole NEW BAY concept just like us.....

Locksmith was absolutely robbed. He served his opponent in the finals, but they gave it to the other guy because he was a east coast rapper and Lockmith is from California. It is east coast bias.

if its east coast bias its due to the fact that def jam dont no how to promote a westcoast artist. they advertise these battles as the best man will win. the only real winner is def jam as they will always choose the person they believe they can make the most money off.

It was bullshit because it was up to the people to decide who gets the contract which is total Bullshit because the people who voted are probably obsessed with Britney and justin and 50 cent and they dont know real hip hop.
Also MTV allowed people to vote more than once so computer wiz people can create programs that submit like 1,000's of votes per min for whoever they like which i think is bullshit because it should be up to Def Jam who gets the contract not a bunch of Mtv mainstream lovers.
Locksmith would have lost anyway if he battled that chic Nite because truly she was off the hook and I gurantee none of those guys could have stepped to her because she TRULY had lyrical skillz, definitely for a woman. I think Def Jam will eventually sign her and get rid of that fuckface Reign Man and get Nite because there arent many hardcore women rappers except for Da Brat and like Shawna and Nite is way tighter than all of them. She wouldve beat Locksmith if she hadnt cursed anyway so Locksmit shouldve beaten reign man but he wouldve lost anyways.
