The re-release "Rock City 2.0" was a dumbed down MTV-version of the album though, and near wack.

the song Off Parole was originally called Get'Cha Paper...he beat was the same but the lyrics were better and the chorus was wayyy better...also on the original there was a song called We're Live, if that was still on there in place of Mr. Baller this cd would be almost classic...i'm glad that on the 2.0 version they left off D-Elite Part 2 cause that was wack...classic songs on this cd:

Royce Da 5'9" has been recording so much material. Upwards to 120 songs, He will release "Death Is Certain" on Game Recordings/In The Paint/Koch Records in September. "Dead Or Alive" will be his 3rd solo album to be released after. Royce got beats from Ty Fyffe, Alchemist, Bizarre ( not "the fat-stuttering FUCK from "Malcolm X"), he's a new producer, Carlos Six July Broady, Reef, and Rush aKa Red Spyda. He's waiting for DJ Premier to get in the studio with him for some heat, before turning in the album. Also Tre Little, member of Royce's crew D-Elite has released a DVD to record labels for to get signed like a demo (You Wont Be Able To Buy This IM now told. Cha Cha, Royce's sister, is a radio personality for 105.9 in Detroit. She hosts her on show from 10-2 on Sundays. Also, Royce is on REWIND: HIP-HOP DVD Magazine Mixtape with "Get Your Guns Up". Blu Warta, and Agllah appears on the DVD. Agglah is a dope producer who has done dope production for Royce, Pun, Kane. look out for Agllahs new album coming soon it will be Featuring 'Get Your Guns Up' (The Full Version) from Game Recordings

lol i got rock city the moment it came out on irc...then i got the retail of version 2 in hmv...had to be done...
...must admit i thought he may have made it big...he was excellent as an underground artist...not had much luck or love as a mainstream artist.
Pity but i hope that with better promotion and production he will prove to be the rapper we thought he could be

I think this album will be a classic,Royce has never been doper than what he is now,just check out malcom x and all the other d12 disses.
