did pac change his name before he died, or did it apear only when the album came out

before he died, if u listen to some tracks on all eyez on me he refers to himself as makaveli a couple times

he changed his name after he got out of jail...

he was in houston 2weeks after he signed 2 deathrow.. and was in a tattoo shop called diego's// he got that crown on tha back of his neck there and he got makaveli on his neck...

diego has a picture of him and pac after finished in his gallery..and he signed it makaveli...and scarface was wit him cuz he has pic wit scarfaces tattoo of a man shootin his brains out ..wit pac head next 2 faces arm...

and he does say it alot on all eyes on me...

Did 2Pac plan to permanatly change his name to Makaveli, or was it just for the one album?
