Title: Why is Soopafly singing about crippin ??
Post by: Jome on June 22, 2003, 07:05:33 PM: Had a relisten to Eastsidaz "Duces 'N Trayz" today, and for once listened to the track "CripHop", even though I usually skip it.

In the chorus Soopafly sings about "That reeeeeeel Crip-shiiiit"
I thought Soopafly was neutral ???
And in so case, why is he bitchin about Xzibit being a fake crip, if he's doing the same himself... ?

Either Soopafly is a Crip, or he's a hypocrit.
Anybody know if he's a crip ?

i could be wrong...but koke was from 3-5-7 crips..i think theyre outta compton...but ur right...hes just singin it as if he was eazy...its just a hook...

ah...kurupt...thats one guy ull never know wheres from...ive heard him rep 19th st crip...then 60...but that is a valid point...if u go by music tho...kurupt has always been reppin crip...xzibit...however...hasnt...he became a gangsta on his 3rd album..

havin a song called "get ur walk on" which is promotin c and b-walkin...thats bangin on wax...see...when DBA(bosko, cool nutz, poppa lq) put out "Walktadis" it was ok...i dont know if boskeez or nutz crip...but im almost positive lq does...that gives...at least lq..merit to talk about it...now xzibit...how many references did he make to gang bangin...in a good light...on 40 dayz or at the speed?
