Nothing is more tacky then a white guy using a ton of black words to make himself sound more 'hip'. LOL. Here's a list of black words white people have stolen, then ruined.
"Man". < this one's not TOO bad, because it's a hippy type of thing
"Cat". < again, not too bad, because most people don't use it.
"Dealie" as in, what's the dealie, yo? < horrible, it probably sounded cool when a black guy invented it.
"Trippin" - The only white man tha'ts pulled it off is Eugene Levy saying "You got me straight trippin', boo"
"Yo" - horrible.
Theres many, many, many more, but the latest is "Sonned". It wasn't that good when black people were saying it, it's REALLY tacky when white people say it. As in "You got sonned" "No, I didn't get sonned" "Yes, Yes you did, you got mad because I sonned you".

Well, I can honestly tell you that hater player is a fool. Under no real circumstances does any respectable Chicano speaks with that stereotypical lingo. He is obviously fixated tearing down Chicanos with his ridiculous manner and characteristics of what a chicano is. He should be drugged out to the streets and shot and fed to the birds.

What is being said is im not allowed to use them words beacuse i am white... in the days of Martin Luther King black people werent allowed to sit in busses (or they ahd 2 give their seat up) which means the seats were for white people.. That was classed as racism... The same is the case with these words (on a smaller scale obviously)

I'm not racist against myself. I'm just saying, lets give credit where credit is due. Black people have always had colorful language, they've invented words, and slang basically BELONGS to black people. Some words are whitish, like "Dude", but It's just tacky, to me, a white guy, to see another white guy saying a word that's traditionally black. They're always about a year and a half behind the curve. Black guys will start saying "That's Wack" and about a YEAR AND A FRIEKIN HALF later, white guys will catch on. I'm just telling it like it is, I think it's tacky. Just talk normal, there's no need to try hard and be somebody you're not, just be yourself.

As we look at this thread as a white people bashing thread, a white person started it. All I can say is, a lot of white people talk black on this forum. That's ok, it's a hip-hop forum, and people here like hip-hop. But it's true, you can like what you like, but be yourself. I'm a Chicano male from Rialto Cali, a poor mixed neighborhood. I picked up all kinds of slang from blacks and Mexicans, and even whites... I can't help it, I was on 2 years saying "sweet" before ever going to Minnesota. But if people don't talk in slang around you, and you pick it up from rap music, I think that's wrong. I love hip-hop, but I would never use most slang, because it's not mine. I love to have my own slang, or when I was younger, I picked up slang from my classmates and friends. Hell, I don't even use up to date slang, because it's not me. And I'm surrounded by it. Oh well, just be yourselves.
