Post by: Big BpG on September 14, 2002, 08:28:31 PM: Yea, no doubt vargas is stronger, but De La Hoya handled him at the end of the 10th and the 11th was all De La Hoya... at the end of the tenth, right before the round ended, Hoya crushed Vargas with a hit that had vargas stunned... when the 11th started, Vargas was still a little dizzy from that hit, Hoya wasted no time and just crushed, and I mean he crushed Vargas right on the right side of his face... Vargas went down on the ground, then he got back up and it just went down for him... Hoya went crazy on him, vargas stuck on the ropes, was too dazed to protect himself, he was basically a standing punching bag taking hit after hit... the referee ended it and the win went to Hoya

WOOO HOOO!
