well well well......All I can say is Everton where so lucky not to get beat.

Bez's match report

Everton started the game well and we seemed comftable on the ball.  As wright was injured Everton played Simo, who made a great tip over the bar from a John header early on in the game.  The game was simplistic and both teams had the same sort of style of play.  Everton got the ball passed and then hit the long ball and Birmingham seemed to get the ball pass and move but nothing would ever seem to come off.  Anyway the match was'nt anything special until a horrendos ball by Graveson put Stubbs and Simo in the shit, John and Stubbs tussled for the ball and John got his shot off which was comftably saved by Simo.  I thought the ball was 50 50 and both players where tussling evenly for the ball and as John got his shot off I dont think there was much of a foul on him but the ref saw it a different way and gave John and Birmingham a pen and sent off Stubbs.  To me I still dont think it was a pen but hey it wasent my decision.

John placed the ball into the net with a great pen and birmingham led 1-0.  As this was the second half everyone felt that Birmingham would proberly take the game to us now becuase we where 1 down and down to 10 men, but strangly enough as Everton so often do Birmingham seemed happy with the 1-0 and seemed happy enough to let Everton take the game to them.  We had most of the play in the second half and we played the ball around nicely.  Campbell got a few good flick on's but where always cleared and Unsworth and Wier held the back line well.  Li Ti showed some fantastic passed and tackles and he yet again looked the most up for it player on the pitch for the blues.  The fans where behind Everton 100 percent of the way but as it came to the 92 minute it looked all over for us. The ref was about to blow his whistle any second when Everton got a corner, this send Everton fans into a frenzy and give us a glimse of hope.  The ball was sent in by Rooney and clearned as far as Rhino, Unsworth  swung a foot at it and kept it hard and low, everything seemed to go into slow motion as the ball took  a deflection, hit the inside of the post bounched up hit a defender on the line and went in.  Everton had done it, 1-1 in injury time, we got are just desserts, we had battled hard with 10 men and we deserved to get a point out of the game.  The whistle was blown and the Everton players aplauded the fans as they realised the contribution we had as we never stopped singing are hearts out.

The fans appluaded the players because Everton never stopped fighting, evenif we would of got beat we still would of accept the defeat because at least we tried.  Everton need to start playing like that more often, we had fighting spirit and we looked more up for the game when we went down to 10 men.  I think Stubbs is becoming a bit of a liability for us and I dont think Naysmith should be starting games.  Rodrigo came on for 5 mins and had a shot, we need to see more of him before we can make a judgement. Rooney played his first full 90 mins and looked outstanding, running at defenders and getting stuck in, I think he really needs his goal though to get him going and I think he has to realise it aint the reserves or youth team anymore, he hasent got alot of time on the ball and I think he needs to gets his shots off alot more.  But still Wayne looked impressive.  Campbell did ok , got alot of flick on's and held the forwards well, Radz never stopped running and done fine and Hibbet put in some great balls.  But once again Li Ti held the midfield, got stuck in found a man with most passes and got forward and back alot.  He set an example to players like Graveson, Linderoth, Gemmill or how a midfielder hould play and that why I am once again giving him player on the week.

Bez's Everton Player Of The Week:

LI Ti

Oh the ref was discraeful, he got booed off at half time and the end, the decisions he made where terrible and he really looked like he didnt have a clue.  Fuck him.

Lol, regardless of whether Anelka scores he is a complete bag of donkey shite, and at 13 million the worst transfer of the season.  HE WILL NOT SCORE MORE THAN 10 LEAGUE GOALS.
