Ok, this is still a sport, so props to Korea. Italy didnt close the game and Korea won it. Korea got great power in and out their stadiums, so they deserved to go to the quarters.

Italy goes home with BLATTER admitting linesmen made multiple mistakes against Italy and with FIFA managers presents in the stadium admitting the refree didnt make a good game, but "that's soccer" and "that happens".

We go home after Korean fans wrote us "Another 1966" and "Welcome to Azzuri's tomb" (morons, it's "Azzurri") and after FIFA asked them to cut the "Another 1966" promising us "they'll cut it for sure". Props to FIFA. And to Korea.

I dunno why but it remembers me those boxe matches with Koreans..

Ok. Props again. See you again in Germany.

Italy got  what they deserved!!

How  I hate those  long haired   , tight shirt  wearin  fags !!
They play with such  arrogance and little respect for their opponents.   Not to mention    all the  cheap shots they throw at   you.       SO FUCK EM!!             FUCK VIERI   FUCK  TOTTI !!

Props to  the Koreans.    Their home crowd  is amazing.

Soccer is a  sport where there will  ALWAYS  be  excuses.     Thats just the way it is.

Biggest bitch ever met on the net? Man are you totally hiped up and out of your mind, so i'll not even reply. Drunken Master? Man.. you really drunk! "Give us props"? Have you read my post or what? I dont want to talk about the game with you (obviously), cause it aint cool and you will write Korea destroyed Italy, so.. continue supporting Korea, and leave me alone, ok? Write "GO KOREA" and "KOREA IN THE FINAL" or something like that. Write "AGAIN 1966" or "WELCOME TO AZZURI'S TOMB". What you want. I dont really care.

P.S.
Totti flopping like Divac? Man.. it wasnt a penalty.. but.. "A SIMULATION?". What he had to do? Cut his legs or what? Isnt a player free to drop down after a contact? Ok, the defender touched the ball, no doubts. But then he touched Totti, who finished down. To call it a simulation is the dumbest decision ever made. Expecially if the refree is 300 meters away. And expecially if that means that you have to give the player a red card. And, just to remember you about that, the game virtually finished 2 minutes later, when Tommasi scored a REGULAR goal and the linesman called it an offside (if you dont admit it you are gay). Absurd. For the 5th time in this World Cup, against Italy. This is just to talk about Overtime, not about the whole game. You counted the yellow cards? Man are you joking? Shut up! It's not about "the number of fauls", man.. It's about the quality of the fauls!

Italians feel like Korea robbed them, but nobody is blaming Korea. We are blaming Italian dirigents because they didnt protect us against FIFA and against those unreal Ecuadorian and Malaysian refrees. It's all politic. And some of us are mad at Trapattoni cause he overrated Korea not attacking until 2-0 (we missed about 300 shots to close the game).

That's all. Call it what you want, add all the disses you want.. I DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOU, YOUR WHOLE DAMN COUNTRY (FUCK YOU ALL) AND I DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT ALL THE ITALIAN-HATERS OR KOREAN FANS. Korea will never have Italian respect after the way they hosted this World Cup, the TOTALLY NO FAIR-PLAY they showed and after the words of lil bitches like you with totally no fair-play.

The verdict is KOREA IN, ITALY OUT. It's cool. Ok. Let's talk about next World Cup.

Like promised.. special dedication for you:

Italy went for the win and had the ball in the net when Damiano Tommasi converted Vieri’s pass, only to be ruled narrowly offside. It was, remarkably, Italy’s fifth disallowed goal in the tournament, surely something of a record, and was quickly followed by Ahn's winning 'golden goal'. Afterwards, Trapattoni and his players complained bitterly about the Ecuadorean referee.

Oh.. and about Totti's red card... i got something about it too..
Francesco Totti, who had been rightly booked for elbowing in the first half but who was now enjoying his best period of the game, tangled with Song Chong-gug just inside the area and was sensationally sent off for diving.

This is the first time in my whole life i've seen UEFA talking like that about a game. Usually they never talk like that, of course. But still... read it. UEFA, not italian newspapers!

I dont even need to quote newspapers (they are all against the refree, just read them once in a while).

Ok, enjoy the big win, but at least shut up and dont diss Italians. AT LEAST.

Just the last one, since you prolly lives in the States:

Ecuadorian referee Byron Moreno sent off an Italian player, Francesco Totti, in overtime after ruling that he dived in an attempt to draw a penalty on South Korea. The replays indicated that he did not, but Italy was left a man short, and 14 minutes later it was out of the tournament.

The thing is, Italy were robbed, but they got what they deserved.

You are 1 - 0 up against South Korea - you have three of the best players in the world up front

So what do you do?  Attack them more and win 3 - 0?  No, you do what the Italians always do, and play defensively.

You got what you deserved for your defensive play again, just like in Euro 2000.

Well done Korea

I agree. But that's totally another point. Btw the whole Italy agree with you. That's why Trapattoni will probably leave and that's why we touched the lowest point of our history. The whole nation wanted Trapattoni to play with 3-4 strikers, not 1 1/2. And to replace Del Piero with Gattuso was been a blasphemy. I know that, and everybody knows that. But that's totally another thing, homie. Totally. Let's say that the refree was totally against Italy, and that FIFA too (not because of the game, but it's like that from 5-6 years, cause there's a big war between Italy and FIFA), but we killed ourself too. But that's not a good reason for us to be threated like that.

Like EL MONDO reported today... "PLOT AGAINST ITALY!".

We knew that (i talked about that 2-3 days before the game, since when they chosed a rookie to be the refree. And since they chosed Italy's number 1 enemy linesman, the same one of Roma-Galatasaray who banned 5 Italian players - and then UEFA asked sorry changed for the first time in his history the verdict), and:

1) WE DIDNT MAKE PRESSURE, I MEAN POLITICAL PRESSURE TO CHANGE THOSE THINGS. Lack of political power, but we knew that because of the war

2) WE DIDNT PLAY TO SCORE 2-0 AND TO FINISH THE GAME. We all knew the refree was capable to do everything, even to sent off Totti like that, absurd. And we didnt close the game. Lack of offence.

Those are the two reasons.

But it doesnt mean Korean can host World Cup like that and it doesnt mean FIFA can act like that. Peace.

You keep talking about Roma vs Galatasaray and my question is what's your problem with the players getting banned?

No Galatasaray PLAYERS got too badly involved - it was the trainers and officials

Plus Lima, of Roma was attacking Cops!!!

There's no conspiracy against Italy - you've come into contact with retarded linsemen - but so have other countries

Totti was a bad decision, but other countries have had bad decisions go against them (Turkey)

If you sit back then you are more likely to get stuff like that happen to you

You need Capello

1. About Galatasaray-Roma, i just want to remember you what the linesman chosed: "Totti and Lima 3 games banned, Batistuta and Capello 1 game, Roma stadium 1 game, no Galatasaray players touched".

Then that's what UEFA said: "We are sorry for the decision, cause it wasnt been equal, obviously. We cant do nothing about Totti, cause he was the captain, so still 2 games banned. Lima only 1 game banned. Roma didnt asked to reduce Capello and Batistuta's bannings, but the Roma stadium aint banned no more".

Am i a victim or what? Isnt it cristalline?

About Totti.. ok, it can happen! But the whole game was been like that, and it was been the 3rd consecutive game against Italy, like you all (and even the UEFA official site) admitted here in this forum. Just read the comments about the other games, again.

Dont talk bullshit, please. Shut up if that's the level of your replies. Nobody is touching your England, but please.. dont talk bullshit. It's too easy to talk when you supported Korea cause Italy is a big team.

P.S.
TOMMASI SCORED A REGULAR GOAL IN OVERTIME. GOLDEN GOAL. LIKE THE WHOLE WORLD ADMITTED. CAN'T I EVEN WRITE ABOUT IT? 5TH CONSECUTIVE REGULAR GOAL DENIED. LIKE UEFA SITE SAID, IT'S A RECORD.

Who's the victim?
Title: Re: S.Korea vs Italy

Do you remember when we played Argentina in the 2nd round of the last World Cup?

We had a Golden Goal disallowed as well.

We also had Beckham sent off for less than Totti, straight red when it was a yellow

But we didn't start talking about a conspiracy

Let's go through every decision

1st vs Croatia

Dumb linseman giving offside when Zambrotta played it backwards to Vieri

2nd vs Croatia

How do you know this wasn't the right decision?  I suspect Inzaghi was pulling the shirt

Both offsides against Mexico were marginal.

And yesterday's disallowed goal was marginal as well.  Plus the goalkeeper stopped before Tomassi shot, so you never know he might have saved it.

The penalty you conceded against Korea was a penalty.  You agree?

You've had bad luck.  There is no conspiracy.
Title: Re: S.Korea vs Italy
Post by: Juice on June 19, 2002, 02:24:44 AM
There's no conspiracy if your nation is not in war with FIFA, man. But if they are in war, it cant be only unluck.

You agree?

Yes, the penalty was a penalty (same one of Spain). I disagree about the rule made for this WC to punish those contacts, but it was a penalty according to the new rules.

But it's not like that, man. Like UEFA said, it's a record! 5 regular goals, + Totti red card + Tommasi golden goal + wars with FIFA = dumb (rookie) refree and enemy number 1 linesman.

It's too much to just say "it happens", sorry.

P.S.
Yes, i remember England vs Argentina. Like i remember Brazil vs Belgium, or Brazil vs Turkey. BUT:

1) ENGLAND vs ARGENTINA was been a mistake of the refree because of a dumb Argentina player simulated, just like Rivaldo. Plus it's a bad game. You have all the rights to be mad because of it. But do you remember the refree? He wasnt unknown/bad. It happens, and fuck Argentina for doing it.

2) BRAZIL vs TURKEY. I remember the day after Turkey made so much noise that in their next 2 games they had the italian Collina, the best refree of the world (at least according to FIFA). What about Italy? A rookie. After all the mistakes. And number 1 enemy linesman of Italy. It aint a concidence, man. Damn, you dont add suspects if you dont have a reason. Why then they chosed them? Easly enemies of Italy.

3) BRAZIL vs BELGIUM. Like i wrote, it's a scandal. But it was been just 1 bad decision in a game. And Brazil then won 2-0.

ITALY... it's all different! When they are 3 consecutive games like that, it's not "it can happen" no more, man! 3 consecutive, with UEFA talking about a record and shit like that. Just add the 2 regular goals against Croatia, for example, and we was probably 1st, playing with USA instead of Korea. But to think like that it's just like making a speculation about everything.

We are home again, with UEFA talking about records and with FIFA saying "that's soccer". WOW!

You right. But it's not like that in our tournament. That's why Panucci looked like a dumb. Cause we do it in our Serie A. It's regular in Italy.

Oh.. and watch Vieri's goal. There are 2 penalties, if that's the method. It's the same with Spain. It aint a penalty in Spain too. But, like i wrote, it was a penalty according to World Cup rules, and we knew that. So it's cool.

Not true. That's again speculation. The whole Italy is mad against the refree and against Trapattoni, not against Korea. Nobody gives a fuck about them. They were nobody since the start of World Cup, and they still are nobody, for us. The problem is political, like i explained. And the 2nd problems is with Trapattoni. Not with Korea. They did what they had to do. If the refree is totally for your team, and you play your game, and you win, the problem is the refree, not the team. And in our situation the problem is the lack of power of Italy vs FIFA and our war against them. That we lost. Like that.

Korea still played a game, no matter what. Ok, we probably deserved to WIN (just because of Tommasi's offside, i dont want to talk about wars and other things..), but we didnt. That's soccer. Sweden probably deserved to win against Senegal too, EIRE against Spain, etc.. But that's soccer. Now the scenario is dramatic for us. Cause we will probably fire both Trapattoni, our FIFA delegate, and our Serie A boss. All in 1 shot. And they are talking about quitting FIFA too, here. Just to let you understand how this aint only "soccer related", but it was been MORE THAN THAN. Peace.

Well done Korea

i can agree with that...but ITALY NEVER got robbed...they underestimated us after their only goal...i mean we have proved throughout the years that we are masters when coming back from deficits....peace

Look bitch. First of all i aint dissing you, your post is totally dumb, like you and all the Koreans who are thinking those things like morons. I'm not talking about political shit now, but i did it even before Italy vs Mexico. Cause they problem was there, and everybody saw it.

And Italy never understimaded Korea. That's what you Koreans wanna believe, just to make this win like a triumph of your country against "the triple World Cup champion Italy". Bullshit. Actually Trapattoni OVERRATED Korea, like we are all saying, cause he didnt attack enought, and we didnt make the 2-0 like we deserved.

So please quit talking in this post like a dumb and eat a dick.

P.S.
And the thing about Tommasi is hilarious. So it was like a time out of Basketball? LOL! Ok. Who called it? The refree? Btw not only it wasnt offside, but a defender touched the ball, so it CANT be an offside!!! Every damn good refree know that. Only the rookie Moreno didnt know that? Or what?

Oh wee! FIFA sent Moreno (the refree) at home too! LMAO! ;D

Hilarious, at least!

Italy had five 'goals' disallowed in the tournament and Trapattoni had to deal with a series of questions about refereeing from Italian reporters but refused to be drawn on the main issue that concerned them about the match officials. "Was it inability or a plot? I don't know," said the Italy coach adding that many World Cup referees, "were not used to the pressure that we are familiar with in Italy".

Ooh.. wee!! Now FIFA too? LMAO!

First of all, you two, stop throwing the insults around else I'll lock it up

The refereeing stuff is a joke

The ref for the Italy - Korea match Moreno, is rated as the THIRD best referee in Ecuador!!!!! He's not even the best ref in Ecuador, and he gets given this match.

The linsemen for the England - Brazil match is from the Maldives.  Now the Maldives doesn't have a Professional league!?  So how the fuck is this guy linseman for one of the biggest matches in the World Cup?

I bet you there is a crappy decision in the match on Friday

Actually we have had a linesman from Malaysia. Do they have linesmen there? LOL.

P.S.
I aint the one dissing.

P.P.S.
FIFA cant tell a World Cup great refree to fix the game and to call everything (or almost everything) against a team. They cant tell Collina to call it all against a team, for example. Well... but if they call a fat muthafucka from Ecuador... an unknown rookie 10 kg over the average for a refree... then.. it's clear they can do shit. Do you agree?

I mean.. just watch this pic! FAT MUTHAFUCKAZ cant even be a refree in Italy.

Continue celebrate, it's better. Cause all your posts are fucked up and dumbs. I didnt say it was a 100% goal by Tommasi, but that they called a wrong offside to stop the clearest action of goal of the game, in overtime, and with golden goal. And even FIFA and UEFA admitted it. And that's the 5th time for Italy in this World Cup.

Not to mention that the mexican didnt send off a Korean player that tried to beat Del Piero with a blow on the elbow (he already had a yellow card), and the red card to Totti, simply a scandal. Or all the fauls not given to Italians: thousands. I mean... have you all seen the game? How can you say it was all 100% ok when Italians almost wanted to kill the refree? Be real, c'mon. Dont talk like anti-italians or like Korean fans only. Be real.

Oh.. and Italy officially denounced refrees because of the previous 4 goals not given to us. And what's the reply of FIFA? Who they called to refree the most important game of the WC until that game? A rookie, the 3rd best refree of Ecuador. LMAO, that's ridicule. C'mon... RIDICULE.

Why they didnt call a world class refree? Some1 known worldwide and candidate to refree the final? Why they had to call the enemy number 1 linesman of Italy and a rookie refree from Ecuador? WHY?

BAD LOSERS!!!!!!

http://football.guardian.co.uk/worldcup2002/story/0,11224,740261,00.html

Ahn sacked by bitter Perugia

Staff and agencies
Wednesday June 19, 2002
The Guardian

South Korea's golden goal hero Ahn Jung-hwan has had his contract
terminated by Serie A club Perugia after his goal eliminated Italy
from the World Cup finals.

Quoted in Italian sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport, Perugia
chairman Luciano Gaucci said: "That gentleman will never set
foot in Perugia again."

Italy has reacted with fury to yesterday's shock 2-1 defeat to South
Korea, accusing the referee and football's ruling body FIFA of fixing
the match.

Ahn, who missed a penalty earlier in the match, was hailed as a
national hero when he headed home the golden goal winner in the 116th
minute.

But his goal was viewed in a different light at Perugia, in central
Italy, where he has been viewed as an under-achiever during his stay
at the club.

"He was a phenomenon only when he played against Italy. I am a
nationalist and I regard such behaviour not only as an affront to
Italian pride but also an offence to a country which two years ago
opened its doors to him," Gaucci was quoted as saying.

"I have no intention of paying a salary to someone who has ruined
Italian soccer."

Ahn joined Perugia on loan from the South Korean team Pusan I.cons in
the summer of 2000. He scored five goals in 29 appearances.

A Perugia spokesman said today that the club had virtually decided to
release Ahn even before the World Cup tie.

BAD LOSERS!!!!!!

Naw, this is again another speculation, and please dont comment it with such a lack of knowledge, man. You are talking shit without knowing shit, homie.

1) First of all Ahn wasnt totally a Perugia player. Your article reported it too: Ahn joined Perugia on loan from the South Korean team Pusan I.cons in the summer of 2000. From the South Korean team Pusan I.cons, not from Liverpool! Perugia had the option to buy him until june the 30th. Since Ahn never started a game with Perugia and since he played hella bad in Italy, Gaucci just chosed not to buy him, expecially after that unknown team asked millions of Euros for the player (3 millions, if i remember it). Simple as that. He didnt fire him, or shot him, or cut his contract, or things like that. He aint interested in Ahn, since Ahn played really bad in Italy. In fact Gaucci himself, and lemme quote your article again, said: "He was a phenomenon only when he played against Italy". And when the President says things like that, it means the player really didnt impress nobody, let's say so.

2) When Gaucci said: "I have no intention of paying a salary to someone who has ruined Italian soccer" your article is incomplete. I bought Gazzetta Dello Sport, and they was talking about how Koreans and Ahn in particular talked shit against Italians and Italian soccer, BEFORE THE GAME. And he released this interview BEFORE the game. Do you remember my post when i wrote Ahn talked shit against Italian defence and Italian Soccer in general? That's why Gaucci said: "I am a nationalist and I regard such behaviour not only as an affront to Italian pride but also an offence to a country which two years ago opened its doors to him". That pratically means: "You talked shit against Italy and Italian Soccer? Now back to Pusan I.cons and fuck you.

Gaucci was right and he had all the rights to do so.

Please be more precise next time you'll make comments like that. Peace.

Hey, i didnt comment the article, but your comment:
"BAD LOOSERS!!!!!"

Dont blame the article now. I know this article is shit, since they just reported something from an Italian newspaper. And they cutted shit, totally changing it. But they do it everytime, expecially if it's FIFA himself to release this article in their homepage. LMAO! What a style, once again. If you read FIFA's articles and reports on their official site it looks like Trapattoni said: "The refree was been great", when Italy is thinking to quit FIFA as a protest, LOL.

Btw the only bad thing you wrote was: "BAD LOOSERS!!!!!".

Think twice before talking shit like that, ok?

This is how the rest of the word see's italy and its people..? WHAT THE FUCK? This has nothing to do with Italy and its people. This is just a fake news reported by FIFA. Another lil scandal if you want, but this aint nothing but a fake news. Peace.

P.S.
This is the official report of Perugia Calcio btw, and it's totally different from the one of FIFA. LOL!
http://www.perugiacalcio.it/new.asp?id=147

Now my question is: what's the source of FIFA? LOL! Cause they only quoted Gazzetta Dello Sport, and they said totally different things. And then they didnt even read Perugia's official Site.

GREAT STYLE.

regardless of the "facts" as you see them

the article is clearly written to say that he was fired *because* of that goal.

Ahn sacked by bitter Perugia

bitter...
Difficult or distasteful to accept, admit, or bear: the bitter truth; bitter sorrow.
Resulting from or expressive of severe grief, anguish, or disappointment: cried bitter tears.

"mr time travel".. please explain how that quote OBVIOUSLY referring to a statement taken AFTER the italy korea game as he is talking about how he was phenomenon only when he played against Italy

the article is portraying italy as bad losers.

thats not the issue.

1) i didn't insult antonio in my first post (and i havent since)
2) i didn't generalise about italy

all i said was "bad losers" in response to the article which paints the picture of the guy being booted after knocking italy out. antonio says i was "talking shit" when i was basing what i said on the article and said "fuck you".

i wont converse with irrational people who cant control their emotions.

Sure i will explain.

FIFA just made too much noise, talking shit with nonsense. That's the reply. They quoted GAZZETTA DELLO SPORT, but it was been BEFORE THE GAME, and they interviewed Gaucci cause Ahn talked shit against Italy and Italians and Italian soccer BEFORE THE GAME, and italians were mad at him. So he replied: "I am a nationalist and I regard such behaviour not only as an affront to Italian pride but also an offence to a country which two years ago opened its doors to him".

First of all he didnt say exactly those things, but just "I am an Italian, and i cant accept that a player to diss a country which two years ago opened its doors to him". Then he continued with: "Perugia will chose if to buy him or not UNTIL june the 30th, but i dont think so, cause the Korean team is asking too much".

FIFA just cutted it, making all this noise.

They they added this phrase like morons, just to make it like Perugia fired Ahn because of the goal! "He was a phenomenon only when he played against Italy". This was taken from an interview on TV, when both Cosmi (coach of Perugia) and Gaucci (President of Perugia) explained why Perugia will not buy the player no more. Cosmi added: "The player never started for us. He did his job scoring against Italy. But Perugia wants Bazzani, not Ahn".

Now you understand how critical are the relationships between Italy and FIFA. You can clearly see it from this article, man!

And this is the article of GAZZETTA DELLO SPORT, just if you want to check it:
http://www.gazzetta.it/common/popup.jhtml?eomid=3.0.682449483&class=/Calcio/Squadra/Perugia

This is btw the full report of the interview on TV of Gaucci, where FIFA took the "he played well only against Italy":
http://it.sports.yahoo.com/020618/19/1uzaj.html

Lemme quickly translate it:
Gaucci: "When Ahn came to us, he was nobody, he didnt even had the money to buy a cheesburger. E' became rich without playing well for us. He played well only against Italy. And then, at the World Cup, he talked shit against Italian soccer. I'll not buy him, he doesnt deserve it. I can buy him for 3 millions and then sell him for the triple, but i'll not do it". Just for the news, he said those things on the TV show: "Il Processo di Biscardi", showed on LA7.
