The game is about two hours away and man I am so nervous, don't ask me why, probably from my dad... he can't eat because he knows Mexico is one game away from the Quarterfinals, which they've only manage to get to a few times in World Cup History...they've never advanced farther... I truly think the Mexican team is better than the US team, but the US has beat Mexico 4/5 of their last meetings...
If Mexico wins, do u think they'll be true contenders for the cup? Or will they just be lucky... I think if they win, we can count them as true contenders and as a team to beat...

Yea, its over... USA beat Mexico 2-0
they played a tough match... their best match at that... It was a strange game because in my eyes, it looked like Mexico controlled the game and then lost it on quick defensive stands... but Mexico kept pushing... like a very hard shit that you can't get out, you push and push and push, but it never comes out... Props to the U.S. I mean I live in the grand USA, but don't expect me to be a fan now, I'm rooting on Germany, their next opponent... Armenia!!!

That's how I feel too... and it's not like they didn't have oppurtunities... they had some excellent ones...I bet they took more shots too...I just feel like their defense cracked twice... and on those to shots the keeper didn't have a chance... except Oscar "El Conejo" Perez almost saved the second one...

Haha... we weren't that dirty... I mean I can see they're were frustated, but Blanco was funny as hell... and Marquez... damn, knocked Jones harder than Lewis knocked Tyson...
by the way... the one thing i hate about soccer is "diving" it drives me nutz.... I can't stand seeing a player pretend he gets hurt and draw a card or whatever, it annoys me!!!!

Dam I actually thought that U.S.A was guna win but I said Mexico because lets face it, it was very unlikey that U.S.A where guna win. I am made up tho cos I have Landon Donovan in my dream team and I will prob go top of a league with 20 people in now.

mexico had the ball most of the time.. but they couldnt do nuthin with it.. they defense of the US was pretty good and mexico rarely found a way through it.. and the keeper didnt let them use the couple chances they had..
usa played perfectly effective. a couple attacks, two goals! that was impressive..
what i didnt like at all was how the mexians, frustrated, kicked the US in the end of the game.. that was fucked up IMo..
props to US, mexicans heads up it can only get better

I told u all about USA. They played a great game against Italy in a friendly 2 months ago, here in Italy. With a good personality. Plus they won against Portugal and they tied against Corea. The fact that they lost against Poland (totally negative day) influenced probably the opinion of you all, but this WC is very strange.
BTW A SINCERE GOOD LUCK FROM ME, AN ITALIAN. CAUSE MEXICO DESERVED 7 POINTS (i dont care about mistakes of linesman) AND OFFICIALLY INTRODUCED HIS TEAM IN THE BEST ONES OF THE WORLD. NOW MEXICO IS OFFICIALLY IN THE MAP OF THE BEST TEAMS OF THE WORLD. Props.

I dont know why Aguirre took out Ramon Morales in the first half, and put in wack ass hernandez. Once they put Hernandez in they started sending passes to him and he couldnt do shit. This was not the same Mexico that got 7 points. And then the big turning point of the game is when one of the US players PUNCHED the ball out of the area. and what do you expect when players taunt? a friendly handshake? USA HAS done the same to mexicans when they have lost. just go back to 2001. Its a freakin rivalry, taunting , dirty play goes on a rivalry
