Title: PC Spec

Anyone got any advice on what i should get in a PC what ill be using only for making music with,

ill be using programs like CUBASE and COOL EDIT etc..

just these program types, so ill need good memory and ram right?

any advice is welcome!

I gotta 2.4 ghz Pentium 4, 768 meg of DDR ram, and there isn't anything I can't do with it, that I have run into so far. All games, and programs have been very smooth, and you can get a system with those specs for about 500 dollars these days minus a moniter. They make faster and more powerful systems obviously, but like I said, it does very well for me.

Ur CPU speed must be @least 1.7 Ghz wit 512k Cache memory and 512 M.B Ram, hard drive wit 7200 RPM or more and shud be ULTRA ATA 100, and last is u shud have a soundcard with dsp24 asio drivers
