Thankyou...finally somebody mentions that...that has the best lines of a song i have ever heard...i will always remember these words:
"on the right hand she had a tattoo of a nude girl, she claimed it is what God resembled, but on the left she had a mirrored image of the same female, and this one she explained looked like the devil"
that shit gave me goosebumps and sent me into a state of thought for like 3 days the first time i heard that...probably the best song of this sort ever made.

Slug was just not born to rap, if he's a good writer he should write a book or something cause he's sounds so shitty on the mic. Nerd rap has to be one of the worst things to happen to hip-hop.

i listen to a lot of "weird" hip-hop, often considered nerd-rap aswell, but slug is really a horible rapper, hes original, but seriously, hes a horible rapper

And that Buck 65 is on some really fucked up shit. Just cause he's original doesn't make him good. I downloaded "The Centaur" (one great song) so I decide to download some other tracks off Vertex and good god is he horrible, he barely even raps and with that horrible flow comes his even worse voice that make him almost unlistenable.

Damn that hits the nail on the head right there. That song describes how I've been feeling about a lot of things lately.
Slug is a horrible rapper? Wow. God's Bathroom Floor is really deep and thought provoking.

This song is so deep and it makes me think of all kind of things.
Paris - What Would You Do
This song is just amazing and thought provoking on how he breaks down 9-11 and the war on Iraq. His assertion that 9-11 was planned by the US government is farfetched IMO but he does make you think at least.
Scarface - I Seen a Man Die
"Imagine peace on this earth where there's no grief.
Imagine grief on this earth where there's no peace."
That line is one of the most powerful statements I've heard in a rap song.
Common Sense - 6th Sense and Retrospect for Life
Both songs are intelligently thought out and powerful.
Ice Cube - Us
When I heard this, all harsh as it was when I heard it, he was absolutely correct. Cube never pulled punches back then. Death Certificate may be the most thought provoking album ever.
