....Nigeria sentencing a woman to death by stoning because she commited adultery?

I saw it on the news and I find it disgusting.

Well this day and age the punishment seems barbaric and cruel. I know adultry is a serious crime in other countries too.

There should be punishment, but death is going a little to far in my opinion.

altho islam itself does not oppress women, many of the countries where it is predominant do.

Yeah, if what you say is true, then that shit ain't right, it doesn't sound like Islam, there had to of been more to it.

but yall have to understand this isnt a cut and dry perfectly clear case

a;lot of regional tribal politics played a hand in the decision
