Title: Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth - The Main Ingredient
Post by: Lord Funk on December 28, 2003, 11:06:49 AM
See topic. That's about all there is to say.

Every track is perfection. This is how hip-hop should sound. It's those warm-sounding soul samples that today's producers like Kanye wish they could hook up. (That's not a dis, but like I say - this is how it should sound.)

Put this one with Tribe's Midnight Marauders and Common's Resurrection as examples of how smooth and mature this hip-hop shit can get.

Someone must feel me? :)
