yeah you couldnt really tell hes a muslim nowdays, hes said nothin related to islam recently, he only said all that islam related stuff pre 95. maybe he liked it then but he figured he couldnt do it, cause have you heard him talk about islam at all recently? or anything that points to it?

now Kam, he is muslim, because is that interview posted on the board like a couple weeks ago, he said that he was.peace

No.  Not true.  Being a Muslim means you believe in Allah (One God) and all of the prophets.

ur response is not logical... that doesnt even properly fit with what i said...  u said ice cube made a song "blaze one for the nation"   the nation being the nation of islam which is different than being a true muslim.. so what the hell are u talkin about with no not true...

people that are members of the nation or islam are hardly ones to brag about being members or ur religion

My response is logical.  The Nation of Islam, black Muslims, have beliefs consistent with Islam, which means submitting to the will of Allah, and the belief in all the prophets.  The only difference is, the Nation of Islam believes that the honorable Elijah Muhammad is a prophet, and traditional Muslims do not.  The Nations views however, are still consistent with Islam, and their Holy Book is the Qu'ran.

Some traditional Muslims denounce the Nation, I am a Sunni Muslim but I understand the prime importance of the role Elijah Muhammad played in reconnecting desecendents of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade back with their origional religion of Islam.

He says praise to Allah on the Peace Disc. He's been Muslim since the early 90's. He isn't with the Nation anymore but he still is Muslim. He may drink brew and smoke weed but that doesn't mean he isn't a Muslim.
