I'm Glad Dr Dre Didn't Write Any Of The Songs - It Would Fuck The Album Up.  :)

2.  The Watcher
Written By Eminem

Ha ha. No, he didn't. He could have partly written it, but he didn't write this song by himself. The infamous "N***a" is used 10 times on "The Watcher". Eminem has said that this word is not in his dictionary. Besides, the lyrics were pretty wack, Eminem writes much better lyrics. I also got "Dr. Dre 2001", and I don't see writing credits on any song in the booklet. In addition, Eminem can't relate to gangsters. I hope you agree, if you don't, I could give you an example:

Eminem written: ?

"Niggaz aim mainly at niggaz they can't be
But niggaz can't hit niggaz they can't see"

No.

Anyways, props to you... I just had to correct you on that one, peace.

I'd like to know if Snoop wrote his parts of Still Dre.

The Watcher, thats a odd one.. parts could be knoc too but it is heavily eminem.

Please believe Eminem wrote "The Watcher."  It's definetly his style, especially that part, "I ain't a thug, how much 2Pac in you got.  I ain't no bitch niether, it's either my life or your life, cause I ain't leavin, I like breathin."  Dre gives concepts, and Em wrote it.  Plus that who, "Thangs just ain't the same for gangstas" blah blah.  Em also freestyled a very similar version on this freestyle I have.

When Mellowman used to post on the board, he had a trivia question, and it was "On What song did Dr. Dre personally play the trumpet on?" I guessed "The Watcher" and he said that was correct. ;D

Cool, he oughta know it, but it's strange that it doesn't say so in the booklet. Dre likes getting credit.

Yeah, I wonder who will do the majority of writing on "Detox"?  Prolly Eminem, Rakim  :o, Knoc, some new protege's.  I doubt Hittman at all, since he has bailed, I know he already wrote for the album, but what are the chances of it sticking.

I made some edits, also, which songs had samples?  I know "The Next Episode," "Lets Get High" & "The Next Episode" had them.  I'll go look now.

Next Episode sampled "The Edge" by david mcallum

Let's Get High sampled "Backstrokin" by fatback

Xxplosive sampled "Bumpy's Lament" by Isaac Hayes

Forgot about dre sampled "The Climb" by no doubt

Murder inc sampled the halloween theme

That's just off the top of my head, there might be more.

Nah, Storch played a lot for Dre.  He didnt help with the "direction" of the song.  Dre would spend time with the artist, Scott wouldn't.  That is the difference.

yeah he never really wrote tho, even with NWA & The Chronic albums so it's not a big deal, i just think he should quit rapping entirely cause even if he doesn't write them i don't like listening to him rap anyway.

Im not hatting on dre... Inside the booklet it says:

Except : "The Message" Produced by Lord Finese.

nowhere does it mention any Mel-Man solo produced tracks, Dre solo produced tracks, or Scott Storch Co produced tracks.

well he was credited as the keyboard player on all those songs, so its kind of strange when he said that. maybe he thought he would be credited as coproducer on everything he touched, lol
