Who in your opinion is the most overrated ?
I got to go with Jay Z
I hate the way Mags and T.V Make him out to be the GOD of Hip Hop
And he thinks he is 2

it always depends how you are considering it.
I mean, if you go buy the mainstream of ppl including 13 year old girls and shit, or if you go by headz like us or if you go by both.
If you go by both, I can also think of Jay-Z.

Eminem is overrated as hell. I don't see what's so great about him, his lyrics and flow are nothing special. Paris isn't overrated since he's not well known. Who cares if Lloyd Banks and The Game haven't dropped an album yet? People are toting them up to be something special whereas they are both boring punchline rappers. LOL @ you talking shit about me thinkin Eminem overrated and then saying D.O.C is overrated. No One Can Do It Better is one of the greatest albums of all time, up with Paid In Full, Illmatic, etc....

Lincoln, the fact somebody ain't known to the masses don't mean he's not overrated, since there might be a lot of heads who just think he's dope as fuck when he's just another aight rapper and that makes him overrated too

imo most overrated rapper has to be snoop, rap-skill wise snoop has nothin but a unic flow and mic charisma...lyriclly he's quite dull, what makes him bigger than rappers of his liege is the fact that back in 92-93 he was at the right place in the right time, I won't deny he was at his personal lyrical pick back on doggystyle but the rest of his releases in the years to come kinda proved to me he was a one time sucsess, a product of right timing, great d.r.e production and a unic flow, nothin mo' nothin less trully...

Jay Z is overrated, yes, but I have to give him respect for giving us some great tracks and, especially, for making listeners feel that he actually cares about us.
Most overrated? I'd have to go with 50 Cent. I do wish him the best of luck with his millions of dollars, but he just cannot rap. It's a disaster. But fantastic marketing makes up completly for his lack of talent.

The 50 cent lack of Talent is a suspect comet. 50 has some talent, he's just not as dope as most people say he is. There is still room for much improvment. I hope is next album is dope. I really liked about 8/21 songs on GRODT. The others felt like fillers. But those eight were good even great depending on opinion.... But as far as Fantastic marketing. No, he went on tour when his album came out. He was in places that hip hop usually doesn't sell well in. Then in summer he went on tour with Jay-Z. Tours always push up your sells. Doggystyle tour made Suge knight some real money... HardKnoc life tour Jay, Dmx, Red & Methods sales have never came close to being higher. Eminem tours alot too. other than that I argee with you!
