middle class state schools (parents who send their children there pay most of the tax) are the most poorly funded according to the NUT (national union of teachers). local and central government money has swung so far in favour of schools in "challenging circumstances" that those in affluent areas are at risk of "failing to be financially viable".
education authorities have always given more money to schools with a high proportion of children from poorer backgrounds or whose home language is not english. which is now supplemented with substantial government grants for inner city schools, ethnic minority pupils and those with additional education needs, councils are not allowed to cut their funding accordingly. this is because it is "politically highly difficult to suggest taking resouces away from schools in challenging circumstances to give more to middle class areas.
this is not all if you go to university and you are dislexic (dunno how its spelt) you have money unneccessarily thrown at you, my house mate is dislexic and he got a top of the range laptop (worth £2000) which he didn't need (he already has a computer), he was given a £300 mini disc player "to record his lectures" he uses to listen music, he also has his books and internet connection (broadband) paid for him, i think there may even be more stuff he gets. he is not an isolated case this happens with all dislexic students at all universities, it is outrageous if you ask me.
and i thaught a labour government was supposed to be all about education, when i read about all this stuff it makes very angry, just like when i read about assylum seekers living it up in hotels calling roomservice, watching premium tv channels at the expense of tax payers money

I think Overseer is seeing what is happening to his country and is becoming more conservative. The same types of things he used to ban me for saying on this message board are things he now agrees with.
Wait until the inevitable terrorist attack happens by Muslims in England. Maybe you guys will start to wake up and do something to take your country back.

It's sad (about the muslim thing). I wish muslims would rise up and seperate from the fanatical aspect of their religion, and publicly denounce it. If they don't (which they won't), everybody's going to throw the baby out with the bathwater, when the inevitable showdown with the muslim extremists happens.

one of the main muslim organisations wrote to all mosques in britain a couple of weeks ago after the terror arrests to encourage them to be keep an eye on suspected extremest and cooporate with the police. its a step in the right direction. i still think someone should blow up the fimsbury (dunno the spelling) park mosque because everyone know whats going on there they just got high priced layers

All I know is that if Muslims were burning the American flag on TV the way they were burning the English flag, our response wouldn't have been pretty. I can't believe you guys didn't do anything when they did that, especially to that fat ass captain hook terrorist. If he pulled that stuff in the US he would get a bullet in the dome.

It is pretty sad that the mosques in England have to be pleaded with and encouraged to work to fight terrorism. Shouldn't they already be working dilligently to root out terrorists in their ranks? I read an article about this story, and it mentioned that this Muslim organization's biggest point to the mosques was that "if there is a terrorist attack in England, Muslims might be among those killed". It is pretty sad that they can only be convinced to fight terror attacks by the possibility that Muslims might die. So if only non Muslims would be killed, I guess they would care less.

but yet it's alright to stumble blindly in a godless, pagan society listening to musicians tell you all women are bitches, and killing people is a *GOOD thing. At the same time, it's expected for you to condemn all wars and suspect conservatives are evil; after all, you're against violence.
