I don't want to delve into the whole iraq war being right/wrong, but the latest argument, and most legitimate, for starting the war was to stop the torture, humiliation and murder that saddam imposed. I HAVE SEEN THE PICTURES. Anyone who believes ANYONE deserves this is a sick fuck. And so what if they killed some soldiers, those soldiers had attacked their country, they were just fighting for what they believe-just like the majority of decent us soldiers. But these cunts like lynndie england really are the scum of the earth. One girl aged 12 was beaten until her brother could hear her screaming from the next cell. Rumsfeld said the worst is to come "and it is not just humiliation of prisoners, we're talking rape and murder". It is the scumbags who commited these acts that are the reason americans are getting killed in iraq. These people have brought disgrace on your country and you support them. That makes you a disgrace.

That is funny. Because I think that the reaction of the entire world to these stories of Iraqi prisoner abuse show how hypocritical and bigoted you people truly are. There is torture and humilation of prisoners that is 100 times worse than this currently happening in prisons all over the Middle east. But where is the uproar towards those countries. There is none......because you people don't really care about the rights of prisoners, you just care about bashing America.

It is pretty interesting that there is a million times more uproar over photos of naked Iraqis than there is of Americans being murderered and having their bodies mutilated, dragged across the city, and then strung up. Or what about all the other sick, sadistic acts being commited by Muslims? How about the 11 Chinese people who were blown up in Pakistan this week because they aren't Muslim? Or the scores of people killed in a bombing of a Sunni mosque in pakistan by Shiite extremists?
Again, the reaction by the rest of the world only shows that they care about bashing America, and nothing else.

and i agree, there are a set of principles and values that western society believes in and THAT is why these abuses should be condemned unanimously, because they fly in the face of all that. I know abuses occur in other middle east prisons, and the reason i got on americas case is that they claim to be a positive force, yet the events of this week have proven these soldiers are no better.
I am not siding with "the enemy" or "terrorists". I am siding with basic human dignity, those soldiers were terrorising those prisoners, and I am against that.
There is not a huge clash of cultures, but people like Bush and Bin Laden are directing the vast majority of ordinary citizens, east and west, towards this type of situation. Of course, target terrorists, but what we are seeing now is feeding hatred of the west more than any rallying bin laden could muster.

All the recent posts are about iraq war. WELL WHO DO YOU THINK GOT US INTO THIS?????
