someone has been using multiple stolen credit card numbers to buy dubcnn cd's in large quantities. they shut the store before the weekend because of this. (we also couldnt tell how many, or if the ship address's were all the same).
yash was the one who hooked up the online merchant account with the bank, and went to see them about it this morning.
when he got there.. they brought the police in and, questioned him acussing him of fraud :(
looks more suspect coz he'd wired a lil money to nima for pressing up of the first batch of orders.
in yash's words... "Incase you dont hear from your boy im at the police station. pray for your boy but they cant do shit cuz I aint done nothin wrong. "

i dunno man.. AFAIK they shut him outta the accounts system.. how much do these suits know about internet stuff?
my biggest question is what was the destination address for all those orders!

i just spoke to yash, we're trying to get it resolved asap.
the bank are trippin and tellin us not to ship any orders, or move any of the money yet.. arggg...
(this doesnt apply to paypal orders, those will ship)
yash HASNT been with the police in anyway.. but they bank has said they're involved. (maybe to put the frighteners on i dunno.. but yash's moms trippin..)
we have had one guy email us saying his card was used twice to buy a lot of cd's so we're forwarding the information he gave us to the bank.
the thing that sucks big time is that they are still acusing yash. :(

I don't understand whats goin on. so you guys take orders, and then based on the amount of orders you get, thats how many albums you print? and someone ordered a whole bunch w/ fake credit cards, and so you guys have too many albums printed? why is yash in trouble? what did he do wrong?

They asked where they were being shipped to, and I replied that you had said (above) that you couldn't tell yet where they went or who or specifics.

no. someone ordered a bunch with stolen/fake cards, so they're accusing yash of using those dodgy cards. plus the bank have frozen the account with all the money in.

i thought the mailing addresses come with the order?

yeah, they do. apparently there aren't any matches, that includes IPs too. but i havent seen that for myself.
we have one guy who's card was used twice so hopefully thats a route into tracking whoever's holding this up for ya'll.

So that shouldnt be a problem to track him/her down if you got the addresses, even if there are 10 different ones. I mean he/she was trying to get those copies to at least one of those addresses so they should be legit. plus you got the credit card numbers dont you, should be another way. or maybe im completely wrong, i dont know ive never dealt with credit cards

yeah what i dont get is why theyre accusing yash its just stupid cause they can so easily prove its not him, by looking at the destination adressed, its real confusing..
and im out of town right now too so its hard for me to call and shit, but yeah yash just emailed me hes stayin with his girl right now.
but yeah we just set up a deal where we press 1,000 cds and the paypal orders will be shipped asap.

The "bank"... is the bank paypal? If so, you're fucked. Paypal has a history of freezing people's accounts and never giving them the money back. I had a friend who had a 3000 dollar purchase paid for via Paypal, and then they immediately froze his account, that was the end of that. If you read Paypal's terms of service agreement, you'll see it holds them harmless in situations like this, they can take your money at any time for whatever reason. Look around, there's webpages set up about it, it's disgusting what they're doing to people.

They are saying hes using extrapolated CC #'s (CC Fraud) buying his own CD's, therefore bulding his bank account up with the illegal funds.
Thats not hard to work out is it?

I still don't understand how he would get money in his bank account tho. the beauty about buying things with a credit card, is that you can stop payment if you have any problems. So I really don't see a problem, why not just stop the payment (which I'm sure has already happened.)

The Arabien Mac Dre-bien : You could purchase $1000 worth of goods using a dud CC making it look like youve taken that much in orders, when really its you paying your own bank account using dud CCs.
I know dude to well, he wouldnt fuck with that shit. He's put so much time and effort into it, and deserves to get paid.
