I don't mean like Snitch on your homie to the cops or nothing, I mean who in here would sellout and do something fake as hell for money. I know I would. I'm talking shit like join the backstreet boys and dance around on stage and shit lip syncing, or play a fag in some movie, or do like Vanilla Ice and make up your entire street history knowing damn well none of it is true, etc. I put this in Train of Thought because it has more to do with morals and principles, but man, I'd sell out in a fucking second if it came down to something trivial like that.

hmmm good question. i don't really consider playing a part in a movie "selling out." i mean it's called acting. did denzel sell out when he played a bad cop? he's not really a bad cop or even a bad person for that matter (as far as i know). why would it be considered selling out if he played a gay role?
now for that other stuff... lying about where you come from... that's totally selling out and i wouldn't do any of that. money's cool and all but i value honesty a whole lot more.

I probably would but only if I was getting dragged into the shit when I didnt have nothing to do with it in the first place.
For example, if I was at home and shit and my homie called me and said I have just shot somebody and then I get a visit from the police and get taken in I would prob tell em that my homie called me and told me he had just shot somebody. Why should I suffer and shit because of somebody else's dumbass ways, even if they are a mate.

i dunno..... i dont think i would. but if i was flat broke workin my ass off an seeing nothing for my effort an the opportunity came along to get me living the easy life than you never kno. I would like to think i wouldnt. there are times i havnt sold out... like high school.

90% of this forum has no clue what selling out is.
If I were already rich (meaning I have at least $1 million) I would never sell out.
but right now, I would sell out in a heartbeat depending on the situation.

I have my pride. I will rep where i came from and be totally real about it... I'd rather have my respect. Money aint everything. For example.. Guru from Gangstarr not reppin where he is Really from he is from West Roxbury Mass he moved to New York to get his fame instead of representing where he is really from. Alot of people are bitter about that around here. Im not one of them I love gangstarr but I can see where they are coming from...
