"What's Going On" is one of the top ten albums of all time hands down. The layers upon layers of live drums and instrumentals with Marvin Gaye flowin over them as smooth as butter is mind blowing. If your into Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield material, than you'll love this album.

how can it be a 6 if are rating system as out of 5...Try not to do that...

I give tracks a 6 that I think are on another level, that surpass the 5 rating system. I hope that clears it up for you.

man, if you think that 'what's going on' is a great album, you gotta pick up marvin gaye's 'vulnerable' or curtis mayfield's 'curtis'. another good one is al green's 'i'm still in love with you'
