I bought the last meal the day it came out, the booklet i got with it is a fold out one. All it has in it is the list of songs and who produced them and the publishing details. There are no thank yous from snoop or any adverts in it. My girlfriend bought the album about a year later and the booklet has a cartoon strip in it. Does anyone have the same booklet as me, and does anyone no y there r 2

I also got the fold out booklet, when I got it the day it came out (I live in the U.K.). After a short while, the other booklet started appearing, so when I saw the cd cheap I just bought it. It's much much better than the fold out one. I just gonna sell my old last meal cd (fold out version) to someone.

I got the fold out version too, no comics. I also got it the day it came out. But the version they sell here now at least has different back cover art. My back cover is just a brick wall, while the "new one" is a photo of Snoop.
But who cares if there's any comic strips? It's the music that's important!

Belgium did ;)

on the eorupe version there was only the booklet... without the cartoon
-
I'm in the UK & I got it during the first week it came out and I got the version with the trademark comic strip.
-
This is the "story":
like all the albums, there are 2 version of Tha last meal
*US Version (with the comic strip inside)
*Europe Version (without comic strip inside)
Some european stores got both versions, but most of the stores prefer to have the european version cuz its cheaper.
-
OHHHHHH so i got the authentic! Maybe thill be a rare cd in 10 to 20 years! ;D

Yeah, I got mine on the day it came out and it came with cartoon strip plus 3 bonus tracks (Purple, Snitches, and Father's day).

Here's the deal - after Death Row put Tha Last Meal on its website before it was released, Priority and No Limit panicked and rushed the album to stores. That's why it came out a week early in Europe and had the incomplete cover (to those with the 'plain' inlay, check the credits - "Studio Tone's full name", missing sample credits etc).
The incomplete cover with the brick wall on the back is most likely to be worth something in years time ( although I doubt it really ), just 'cause it's the rush version to combat Tha Row's 'leak'. Now you can only buy it with the full cartoon and whatnot.

I bought mine from U.S so mine has the comic strip. Dope.
-
U been serious bout the bonus tracks ???
-
Did I say bonus? I meant BOGUS. LOL!
