Title: Bone's E.1999 (maybe silly rumor)
Post by: That_Cracka_J on September 26, 2002, 02:01:52 PM
I heard awhile back, that there was some riddle in the linear notes of Bone Thugs E. 1999 Eternal and if you solved it, you were given a phone number to call.  If you called it, you could hear a song by Eazy-E entitled "Everything I love".  This may just be a silly rumor, but I'm wondering if anybody else has ever heard of this...

Are the backwards messages you're talking about at the intro where it has Bizzy's verse of Thuggish Ruggish Bone backwards?  Are there other parts of the CD that has messages when you play it backwards?

Look inside the album cover and decode the message thats written backwards. Back when the album first came out, I think the first 100 people who decoded the message and called in got to hear that Eazy E song, and win some sort of prize or something.

Also, that message goes in accordance with the map inside. It gives you clues on how to follow it, and you end up finishing where you started. Pretty neat shit......

oh, and that Bone board is now a private board, and doesnt except any new members anymore......sorry.

That was probably the best album cover ever meaning not the way it looked but what was shown in it. The message backwards, hidden messages on the side, etc. were as classic as the fuckin' album. Too bad no one has been that original since then.

Shit Top 5 for me. They need Uneek and Tony C to do all the production!

Yea, now that I think about it, its probably in my top 5 as well.......Tony C did most of the production on that album though, I heard Uneek took alot more credit then he should have. Classic production in anycase.........

E.1999's intro can be played backwards and u hear thuggish ruggish bone, but if u really wanna hear some shit play the intro on CREEPIN ON A COMEUP, I dont have the cd anymore, but i remember it was some kind of prayer. I think it was the our father???

You know, its almost impossible for me to make a top 5.....too many great albums out there. The only album that NEVER leaves my top 5 is Makaveli The 7 Day Theory. In my opinion, that is the greatest album ever recorded.......my top 10 [fuck top 5, thats too tough] would probably look something like this:

Makaveli
Illmatic
Aquemini
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx
All Eyez On Me
E.1999 Eternal
Doggystyle
The Diary
Moment Of Truth
Ready To Die

I dont even know if thats my top 10, but its close enough I guess, though I didnt put them in any order of greatness. The Chronic, 36 Chambers, Liquid Swords, Redman's first two albums, ATLiens, Creepin On Ah Come Up, Me Against The World, Fear Of A Black Planet, The Infamous, Hell On Earth, The Predator, and Midnight Marauders are up there too though.......
