Thats some nice agreeing your doing with people there Smooth. LOL, I'm playing. Ras Kass spits Lyrically amazing, he has a dope voice, hes got an amazing flow complimented by a rhyme scheme that varies from near every other emcee in the game. The topics he spits on are dope, he makes something for everyone. Beatwise hes been let down, but his beats are never awful. Just because Dre hasnt slapped his name on the beat doesnt mean a beat has no value.

I mostly agree, Ras Kass is among my top 10 rappers, BUT..
* His voice is average
* He can be TOO complex some times, even if you're a professor (Please don't tell me you understand everything Ras spits)
* He isn't connected in the game to sell units
* GOLDEN STATE PROJECT could be the BIG breakthrough.. :D

Ras is pretty amazing lyrically, but yeah I admit sometimes he baffles me, lol, but if you do some rewinding it's usually easy to pick it up in a few listens. He gives you something to think about, which I can always appreciate. I don't think he has an average voice though, I could recognise Ras' voice anywhere, it's very distinctive I think.

If Ras Kass Doesn't blow up with his next LP, then how soon do you'll think he'll retire? Fuck it, the Westcoast is destined to reign again. Quik will right up there too........ ???

I really dont care much for him, and I find him to be rather overrated. Sure, he's got lyrics for days, but thats about it. His flow is quite average, and he has little to no charisma. And on top of that, he's a racist, so he loses brownie points there....

IMO Ras is one of the best rappers out there today regardless of which coast he reps. Lyricaly i can't really think of many rappers who are up there with him. Album wise he has dropped 1 classic (OR TWO if u count the unreleased version of "Soul On ice"). His flow is tight so i don't know where u are all coming from when u say its not good (BUT then again i love chino XLs flow, and many say thats his weakness ???) and charisma i think he has by the bucketloads.
The only fault with Ras is his beats, Soul in ice was brilliant, but Rasassination's beats ranged from VERY good to damn right poor.
Don't worry ppl, when his new album drops he'll suprise alot of ppl i think AND he'll shock everyone who don't know how the hell he is when the Golden State album drops. Coz u better believe he's gonna rip Saafir/Xzibit and any other guest on that album a new ass.

Ras Kass is probably one of the top 2 or 3 lyricists in rap...But that's where it ends...Average flow, average delivery and no charisma so he will never sell...
