Listen man, if Arafat was a faggot, that was his personal business. As a westerner, I believe people should be free to do whatever they want behind closed doors. This isn't the Middle East where they cut off the heads of homosexuals.
Besides, I think we all know that homosexuality is widespread in the Muslim community. Ever notice how at the mosque Muslim men segregate themselves from women and then proceed to line up in rows and get on their knees and stick their butts up in the air to "worship Allah".
