I know Americans think that's a weird combination (you are an American right?), but then again... Americans put mayonaise on their sandwich :-X Still I wonder why Americans think french fries and mayonaise don't go together. You eat ketchup with your french fries, so why not mayonaise?

No I never had rice on pizza but let's not go into that ketchup vs. pasta sauce argument again. It was bad enough the first time.

The Netherlands ain't Northern Europe homie. And in actual Northern Europe I don't know one guy who ate pasta with ketchup. Gotta have proper tomato sauce and parmesan cheese. Freshly grated, of course.
Oh and mayo actually goes with both - fries and sandwiches. (Although in Finland the ketchup + fries combo is the typical choice, mayo with fries is somewhat of a rarity, but some people (like me) do that too. Never ever mix them though)

I've had both and truth to be told, mayo actually does taste good on your sandwich. Peanut butter and mayonaise on your sandwich tastes good as well. I know it sounds disgusting, but it's really something you should try ;)
