Ive watched the LOTR 1st one extended version. where its got those 2 discs of special features. all i have to say is....
boring ass shit. I watched about 1 hour out of like 10 hours. And it was just so boring. i cant imagine the 12 discs.

I saw the Matrix one at the store, that's even worse. Get this, it comes with a fucking puppet or something some kind of hell I dunno. Anyways, it has 10 discs. I checked the discs to see what they were. The first is
"The Matrix" with all these extra commentaries and shit. Then, the second disc, is "The Matrix Revisited", yea, that's right, an entire disc talking even more shit about the first movie. They do this with all 3 movies, a total of 6 discs. Nevermind that the first one was half-ass clever, and the second and third were horrible boring tripe, they devoted 6 discs to this part. The 9th disc (I believe) was about the philosophical meaning of the film. Give me a fucking break, lol.

yeha man lords ofrd the rings is so fucking wack.that shits sleeper. dude the whole movie is the same shit over and ov erf. fighting dwarvers, fighting goblins, like thas all they do. and shit gets kinda repetetive for 3 hours straight. so i say thumbs the fuck dowen with this movie. i didnt even bother watching 2 and 3. woulda been an additional six hours of torture. i heard about some Lord of rings marathon at some theater, where they played part one and part 2 back to back right before the premiere of part 3, so it would be like nine hours straight of that shit.

I don't mind fantasy books/movies, I just never really liked Lord Of The Rings. It's rather boring and too pretentious, for lack of a better term.

The Movies are very long, especially the extended editions. Word is bond that Part 3 has more than 5 hours footage (and no, watching that wouldnt bore the hell out of me). Therefore, each movie probably needs more than 1 disc, so it's not like there are 9 disc of trashy features, but rather 6 or so. I never baught Part 1 oder 2, I endured years, waiting for the trilogy to save money and also to have it in a common edition that doesnt look like straight puzzled from the flee-market. I don't even know if there's a extended edition trilogy out without those special features. I doubt it.
Now what's smarter? Buying Part 1, 2 and 3 each, and paying more money with having different cases in the end, or just buying the trilogy and paying less money?

all it is is all 3 of the extended versions in one package........a box set of all 3 of the box sets
each movie is on two discs
ex. Fellowship is on two discs, two towers has two discs, and return of the king has two discs
all together the actual movie takes up 6 discs
then each movie has two discs worth of special features
it's not as much as you think
but STILL
5/5 movie
