^^^Look at those albums!!!!!! 1996 was a fucking INCREDIBLE year, right up there with 94'..........and I didnt even mention other good albums like "Beats/Rhymes/And Life", "Illadelph Halflife", or Mo Thugs Family Scriptures........In a way though, it wasnt a good year, because we lost the greatest MC ever, who never got to see his full peak [and he STILL dropped two of the best albums EVER just 9 months apart].

Oh hell yeah '96 was a great year for rap. If 'Pac wouldn't have died, an even better one. I can't even give great rankings 'cause all the albums were just too good.

Muddy Waters was nowhere near the best album of 96'. Its a good album, but the best of that year?? C',mon now, albums like the 7 Day Theory, AEOM, ATLiens, Hell On Earth, and the Score are all easily better......not to mention Ironman, Reasonable Doubt, Illadelph Halflife, and It Was Written.......

I love 7 Day Theory, AEOM, ATLiens, Hell On Earth & Ironman, but Redman is one of favorites and it is my fav. of his.  It was a dope album.  My favourite of '97 is this, but the best album of '97 I would say is The Don Kiluminati.  (there is a difference between "my fav. album" and "the best album".

Oh I see what you're saying....Redman is tight, no doubt, but my fav from him is probably "Whut Thee Album"......a gutter classic. Ironically, I think that was the first album that Makaveli elminated in the tournament......
