Title: help with a video cd
Post by: Acgrundy on January 08, 2005, 08:05:59 PM
ok so I had a whole bunch of music videos on my computer and they were in svcd format, and I burned them onto a cd, and encoding them with nero so that I could play the cd on my dvd player.  then I had a problem with my computer and I lost all my files.  So I want to put these music videos back onto my harddrive from the cd.  Problem is I did not burn them as files, but rather as a movie.  how can I get them back onto my computer?

Thanks for any help.

sounds like you need some kind of video ripping program, like the ones they use to copy dvd's to their hard drive... i don't know one off hand so i'm not that useful

Hmmm, TMPGEnc (http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=TMPGEnc) might help you chop up the movie into separate music videos again..
I always browse Videohelp.com (http://www.videohelp.com) whenever I have a video playback/encode/rip/burn/codec problem, great site.  :)
