DJ Quik - for sheer innovation and experimentation.

Kay Gee (ex-Naughty By Nature) - for those summertime, radio-friendly grooves.

Dr Dre - for that clean, unadulterated BUMP!

Dat Nigga Daz (from 1996 and before, NOT Daz Dillinger!) - for intricate gangsta shit.

Kanye West - For some of those 'Blueprint'-esque, oldies-influenced grooves.

To complete the dream team, my MC would be LL. Might not always get props these days, but the man is still my all time microphone hero. (Fuck y'all, I'm old school  ;) )
