Devout catholic or just catholic background? I never saw the point of going from one set of absurd strict rules to another. I don't mean to disrespect either religions, but the rules are a little out there in some cases and come across like they were made for social reasons rather than spiritual ones. Then of course both throw the message they represent out the window once some one threatens their customs. Now if you didn't have any real faith to begin with and found it in Islam then I understand but if you had faith in Jesus I don't see the point in switching. Of course, if you were raised Muslim and converted to Catholic I'd say the same thing to you, just reveresed.

i´d like to know why u made this change in your life and what makes you so sure?
Excuse my english, i´m a pakistani but born and raised in germany and I still live here. I forgot about islam the last years, because of the people around me ect. i used to drink alkahol, smoke weed ect
I decided that I can´t go on like this, so I made my mind up. Thought about the world, religion, just everything. Now I´m trying to pray five times a day, I´m reading books about and try right. I already quit with smoking and drinking 4 months ago.
Hope u anser my question. Made me feel good when i read that u convertid, good to see that so many people choose the a (right) way
