I used to have them in crates and on shelves but it all got too much (got quite a small flat) - I keep 'em in those book/wallet things now and bin all the cases unless they're 'part' of the cover (like those coloured No Limit ones lol)

Realistically if you want to get on the property market you need someone else to buy with you. Or you could look into buying a property and then renting it out.
Think a mortage is something like 3 times your salary.

a 1 bed terrace starter here is around 100k
3/4 years ago you could get a 2 bed semi/end terrace for about 80 g's.. wish i had the money i have these days back then :(

yeah mortgage is roughly 3.5 times salary... (should really talk to opti about this.. she a snr mortgage advisor these days ;) but hey we gonna live together one day :D)
anyyways... so to get 120 you need to be earning 40 g's a year... i wish!
two people earning 20k a year? not so difficult... but more than most people i know earn..
now of course most people use a deposit.. say 20 g's.. tthat brings it down to having to borrow 100 g's..
thats 100 / 3.5 is 28 g's
so still... gotta move in with someone.. but it'd be more comfortable..

Yeah I still live at home, but not for long. This new job has accomadation and food supplied for pittance. At the moment I'm doing this shit office job but I can get away with murder and stare at the birds all day so it'll do for the time been. Only problem with it is I can't see it going anywhere, thats why I want to get out.

and around 1000 copied albums ...
if i was to sell my collection (the cds that arent copied) would maybe be worth around £8500-9000
so think about how much yours would be worth :o

Your missing Twista's Mobsta's cd, plus like 3 or 4 legit Ballin Records, and a whole lot of Too Short missing. It's also amazing that you only have 1 Marvin Gaye cd, a little hint, get the 4 discs Master Collection, that shit is off the chain!

My sister is like you, she claims to be the queen of music....her attic has nothing but old vinyl and CDs, she goes on Music Shopping sprees every other week. she is going to get a bigger house just to get another room to store all her stuff. I dont bother looking thru or even touching any of her CD's/Especially the Vinyl. she'll have a heart attack....are you that caucious with your collection??
