i think rbx was the first to leave deathrow, since dre and suge started deathrow i believe he held dre responsible. they have since mended their differences.

You mention The D.O.C. on "A.W.O.L." Now he's also left Death Row, possibly for some of the same reasons. Any plans to hook up with him later on?

What was it like filming the video for "A.W.O.L." at Alcatraz?
"Oh, man, it was tiresome, cold and spooky. Cause we were on the island, and we couldn't leave. We had to spend the night there for three nights, so it was an experience. It was my first video, so I didn't know what to expect. I was kinda newrvous, then I wasn't nervous, and then I kinda got nervous again, because I didn't know. After the first couple of takes or so and I got used to it, I was fine, no problem. But it was hard work."

The opinions about the RBX-Files vary a lot and I personally think that what I've heard is pretty good. But thing is, it's on a whole different vibe then anything Death Row released. Tracks like 'Tundra' and 'Feathers in the wind' are something completely different. I also think Gregski did a pretty good job of producing the whole thing.
As for RBX leaving, I think the whole situation about differences in musical view were much more important then getting slapped over chicken. Oh and by the way, doesn't it strike anyone that that interview with RBX is a very readable one? Not constantly this 'nigga this','nigga that' and 'you know I'm sayin'?..' shit most rappers do.
And I still think RBX is underrated.

many people claim different things about the supposed suge / rbx situation, some say Suge nearly got slapped, some RBX nearly got slapped, some it wasn't RBX Suge was mad at but some bodyguard and RBX was just the one who said it in an interview since he witnessed it.
anybody in here who got sources other than the internet rumors ?
as the for dissin, RBX mentions the reason throughout the whole track, he thought Dre was fuckin him out of his money. Later he prolly found out it was Suge (and got down with Dre again) and he did plan on dissing him but as you know Dre didn't want to have anything to do with Death Row anymore so RBX left Aftermath (that's what he said in an interview in 03 or 04). His second album was probably too late to have a diss track about that shit

i'm really not feeling much of his first album, it's just not my style. The second album is ten times doper IMO. The superproducer from Sweden, Polar Bear did some genious shit on that one...

RBX was already done with college when he first got picked up by Tha Row, some people in Have Gun, Will Travell said that RBX was on another level intelectually on Tha Row.
Mr. Alba:
Ronin Ro's book has a lot af interviews with old DR employees and artists. RBX talsk about the mentioned situation.. If i remember it right, he didn't get slapped, but Suge said some blood shit, and RBX didn't wanna jump him because Suge had his whole entourage behind him with guns and shit. Suge's and RBX's family suppousedly had beef from way back.
