If it's gonna be some shitty WWE production then hell no.
-
i think Esoteric handled all of the production didn't he?

He can be dope at times.

Another Hip Hop Classic! Five Mics says The Source...
-
esoteric is an emcee. 7l is the producer. but we've heard 3 song from him thus far, plus the remix he was on with murs, and all have been dope. good underground production that does sound like 7l, or jedi mind tricks
'Jake One, who has done beats for E-40 and Gift of Gab (Blackalicious) recorded a half-dozen songs for the new album by WWF wrestler John Cena. "I think one of the songs is gonna be his entrance music," Dutton says with some bemusement. Still, if the gig doesn't exactly promise a truckload of hip-hop credibility, it's made the producer popular in other quarters. "I've got a couple friends who are wrestling fans, and they tell me he can rap, so who knows?" he says. "And my wife's niece and nephew are die-hard fans, and I got them autographed pictures, so I'm a hero to them."'
-
Jake One,He's a cool producer. I think he's from Seattle or Vancouver. First time i heard him was when he did a couple beats for this Samoan cat named Kutfather from San Diego a few years back.

Imma Buy this cd. 8) 8) 8)

I'll buy this and put it right next to my Hulk Hogan rap CD, and once I get my hands on Macho Man's album, I'll have the holy trinity of hip hop albums at my disposal.

give the guy a chance , maybe it'll rank up there with "blood in my eye" as in "meh , i'm not gonna listen to it again , but hey i listened to it"

Here are some links to some of the best hip hop tracks ever recorded;
Hulk Hogan's "Beach Patrol" (a timeless classic)
http://s38.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=151DJ5B5EBOG330GW4PQPF9RSP
Hulk Hogan's "I want to be a Hulkamaniac" (a little message for the kids)
http://s38.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=27544VQN84QYK1UH5347J45IJR
Hulk Hogan's "Hulkster in Heaven" (a touching ballad about a dearly departed fan, but only for those who know Hulk's fabricated story. To most it sounds like a love ballad. Since most girls don't know the story, this is a sure fire way to get them in the sack. It's very sexy 8)).
http://s38.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3AEBR1YAIC4X91Z5LMO2S83VSG
Hulk Hogan's "Hulkster's Back" (Listen Hulk rip it up Slim Shady style)
http://s38.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=29EOI0JRPDHVL3AAG8QWN3NUK0
and now here's a song that perfectly sums up why Hogan did all this;

I hope all you enjoy the greatness. (someone let me know if I should move this to the Hook up Spot, eventhough this should hardly be considered a hook up.)

Here's something I don't get, somebody explain it to me. Seriously.
Why does John Cena have ANY fucking fans? He's a total joke, he's a wigger who can't rap. He's a total stereotype, plus he thinks he's talented, but clearly isn't. Is there anybody alive who really thinks this guy sounds good, or the stuff he writes is good? How many times can you say I'll take off that mask, and beat your (point the microphone to the crowd and they all yell ass)? It's just simple stupid uninspired bullshit, and yet people cheer and yell and jump up and down everytime he comes out, saying the most childish horrible nonsensical lyrics ever.
On top of that, he does stupid shit like wave his hand in front of his face, and say "You can't see me". Is that supposed to be clever? Is that supposed to be like some cool shit that only he thought up? It's rediculous, he looks like a fucking baboon doing that shit, and he doesn't just do it once, so we can forgive him. No; he's got to do it EVERY FUCKING TIME he gets anywhere near another wrestler. Sometimes he does it in mirrors, or in interviews and shit.
If a white guy like that (ergh, sans the huge muscles he has) showed up in a club doing that shit, he'd get laughed THE FUCK out the door. Yall got the NERVE to talk shit about Vanilla Ice, but yet give this motherfucker a player pass? I'll never understand the attraction there.
-
Well, actually, I was just joking.
-
his character is that of a wigger. he debuted it, and his freestyling, at a WWE costume party where he was dressed as Vanilla Ice. people like it. he kept doing it. wrestlers have catch phrases that they repeat. fans 'pop' upon hearing these catch phrases. other wrestlers cant see him. his album will be one of the best of the year. some of his battle raps are stupid, some are clever.he is your new champion but is, inexplicably, a worse wrestler than the last champion. both are wrestling gods.
-
I guess Austin flippin the bird is so much better than Cena waving his hand in his face.
-
the reviews for that hulk cd are hilarious...
-
Well, all of it's kind of silly... but this is now outside the realm of wrestling. People are going to buy a cd he did, that's nuts. At least with the Hulkster's, it was for kids, John Cena's shit can't even be played around kids.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I hope you realize people in their 20s were saying the exact same thing about Hogan, and even Dusty when they entered the wrestling secene.
I'll buy the Cena CD because I expect a good laugh, just like I did with Hogan's CD. I also doubt how many kids actually bought the Hogan CD because he released it in 95 when all his fans weren't as young. In all fairness, Cena isn't completely terrible. I heard him on the Murs track, Hustle, and although he didn't steal the show, he didn't completely ruin it, like Hulk or Savage would have.

Cena comes in at the end.
-
dont buy Cena for a laugh you jack-off, he is serious about hip hop and is working with some of the undergrounds finest to put together a piece of art that will be enjoyed for years to come. have some respect

I just hope WWE Writers don't write any of his rhymes like they do his baby face promo raps.
-
haha did anyone download those hogan tracks.
best track is Hulkster's back,
best lines.... "whats up dude" (right at the beginning lol), "Hey check out the pythons baby, would you look at that, the hulksters back" (in the chorus), "yo ted turner you wanna arm wrestle", "check out the pump chump", "oh look at that new vein in my triceps" haha that shit is real funny
-
not me
-
I kinda Actually like the first single "bad Bad Man" the video is up @ wwe.com, check it out
-
noooooo the hulk hogan tracks are down .. reup plz !
-
This wigger's album is actually better than Eminem's.
...That's not saying it's an amazing album though, but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting.
-
anyone have a couple tracks i could check out?
what's his style like?
-
lol @ this thread
-
Although he's "over" with wrestling fans as they are giving him such a big push by giving him the belt at Wrestlemania, His in-ring skills are far from impressive and his gimmick is really getting old like your Grandma's coochie. As for his rap album, I'm pretty sure it's going to make an impressive debut on the Billboard charts but it will quickly fade away in a heartbeat but Columbia is backing it all up and East Coast Legend Freddie Foxx made a appearance in his "Bad,Bad Man" video which by the way, Is one of the worst, cheesiest, low budget rap videos i've ever seen in my life. Four minutes of my life was wasted watching that video....lol
John Cena, Good luck with the rap cd but stick to wrestling.
-
freddie foxx is on a few tracks on the album, Cena's skills are average @ rappin, but he'll get better as time goes on
-
I wouldnt listen to this cd if they paid me to. Hes the 2005 version of Vanilla Ice.
-
noooooo the hulk hogan tracks are down .. reup plz !
Give me a day or two and I'll re-up them.
-
i like when he pumps his shoes :)
-
I saw the video on RAW monday, and actually thought it wasn't half bad. Damn, shows what I know!
