Title: How do I check Soundscan records?

I went to soundscan.com but I didn't understand what the site was about... so where do you get your record sales from? I'm asking how I can view Soundscan sales, but also what other sites can I go to to compare? I know of hitsdailydouble, but I would like Soundscan sales the most.

You can go to www.riaa.com and check gold and platinum certification status, but you have to have a subscription to soundscan to get the actual figures.
