We have a dedicated section for MEMBERS to upload porn in. >> http://www.dubcnn.com/connect/index.php?board=21.0
These member only sections that get unlocked at varous post counts.
There is a post limit that needs to be reached to gain access, its not a lot.
Don't ask or post what this limit is once you know as this stops leechers spamming to try and gain access.
The sections are provided for regular contributors to the forum.
People found to be spamming to find these limits will have their accounts deleted.
This focus of this forum is NOT about mp3s etc.. it is for the discussion of music.
Therefore if you come here to properly discuss music then you will find yourself having access shortly as a side effect.
Posts containing audio links will either be deleted or moved to the members only audio/video section. as will posts which beg for mp3s to be uploaded.
The only exception is links to artist and/or news sites containing new singles etc etc.. Snippets of _new_ songs are also deemed 'ok'
Also... begging for tracks that are being discussed is also frowned upon..
people arent supposed to post audio in threads in the main forum.. so dont ask them to!

problem is.. the main forum was getting flooded with posts all about audio and NOT about hiphop.. between us mod's sorted it out.
this has been getting progressively worse lately due to number of new sites that allow files to be sent around easily. (which i aint knockin.. )
due to demand we have made a place for audio to go.. whats wrong with that?

both of these are cases where people here have chopped it up and we've all agreed / compromised on the course of action that was taken!

It should be cool though to upload a single track that we're discussing in the thread, for instance, if I uploaded that "Gangsta Rap" with the different Crooked I verse in that thread discussing the song, would that be cool?

we have a section for it.. the problem was MEMBERS were uploading stuff and NON MEMBERS keep expiring the links.. so we've made it a little more difficult for poeple who just want to sign up and take stuff without contributing to get access.
MEMBERS _ASKED_ for this.. it wasnt my idea.. so know the facts before you run me down !

People, get over it. Without these post limits, there wouldn't even be a hookup spot, because links would simply be going down in 10 minutes because of all the leeching going on. That ain't the purpose. If you want to leech, get on IRC or KaZaA, I don't care where you get your stuff from, but the hookup spot was made with a different purpose.

yo i got me a lil grip of shit , finally got soem free time lately so i registered...
if i upload shit before i reach the required post count , will it get me closer to peepin the audio section
yeah theres no doubt i can see the reason for the cap and the move, the only thing maybe, is that heads might just make stupid one word posts then, just to build up yer post count .. im good ill do my thing .. i can wait....ever since i used to drive up to the roadium swap meet in 87 to cop dre mixtapes ive been into this shit , im sure ill be able to hold my own ... 8)

Ok This is problem i see with audio being all over freely. This is soposed to be a message board to talk about the music not a file sharing program. by putting a limit on things it gets people to start actually talkin about music and whats being talked about then just coming for the free downloads. to me the music here is just a bonus added to the tight forum. to many people expecting it is the problem. to many greedy people thinkin its owed to them. i also dont think once u get audio section video etc u should stop contributing to the rest of the forum. The forum shouldnt be abused as if its p2p file sharing program. i love that there is an audio section but lets not forget what this is here for.
