Mannie Fresh has left Cash Money about 2 months ago. If you wondered why he suddenly worked with B.G. and Juvenile who left Cash Money... this is the reason.
-
oh yeah... he's the main producer on TQ's Europe album "Apocalypse"
-
Mannie Fresh left Cash Money?! now that was unexpected. Cash Money aint been shiet since Juvenile left but now they're officially over
-
yup... you can treat every single artist like dirt, except for your main producer
-
Cash Money without Mannie Fresh is like Harold Melvin without the Blue Notes! You'll never go platinum!
-
all that shit is true
mannie fresh put together some hot ass beats , fuck them man let him get his paper id like to see him work with other
artists
-
So manny fresh got treaded like shit?..is that why he left?..
-
are there any other sources confirming this????????
-

ROFL!
If this is true then I don't know what to say. Mannie Fresh is Cash Money. Put it like this - I'd put my money on him rather than the remaining label.
Here's hoping Mannie pulls a DJ Quik-move and starts spreading his influence around a lot more. There are a lot of emcees who could benefit from his input behind the boards.
-
who is left on cash money, other than #1 stunna aka birdman??
-
if it's true then good...Mannie's got dope beats, it would be good to see him spread them around and not waste on Baby and Wayne
-
No surpise. The promotion for his album was shitty. I wish him the best of luck.
-
mannie fresh puts together some dope beats
that 1 he dun 4 mack 10 - connected 4 life
in fact im gonna listen 2 it now :D
-
If this is true then I wouldnt be surprised to see Lil' Wayne go next!
On 106 & Park they had Jay-Z and Memphis Bleek on there and they asked him if he could pick any rapper in the game right now who would he pick and he said Wayne!
Alot of catz like Wayne, and without Mannie (who practically sold "Tha Carter" for him wit "My DJ") then Cash Money will can just pretty much bet on it that Wayne will leave too!!
-
damn, id say something else but im high right now
-
:oif this is true :o
anyways, i thought baby would be smarter than to let mannie go.
-
are there any other sources confirming this????????
TQ told me
-
mannie fresh IS cashmoney, so if he not give them beats anymore then cashmoney is over...
-
Mannie might´ve left but Wayne aint goin nowhere coz Baby owns Wayne´s ass(literally). hopefully this will mean that Mannie will branch out a lot more and start working with cats from the west and east too coz he´s a dope beat maker.
-
CMR aint shit without there beats that Mannie gives them
but they drop some hits tho

I'm calling bullshit on this until I see some proof.

Take a look at the credits for Baby's album if you want proof. He only did 3 tracks, the rest were done by no-names.
-
Baby's album has been done for at least 3 months, because Scratch reviewed it on their Eminem issue. And anyway, what do you want to bet that Baby owns ALL the beats that Mannie did under CMR? I'm guessing that he just wanted to put on some new dudes, although I'm not sure why. We'll see in the next couple of weeks, I guess.

you'll get the proof in a few days
maybe tomorrow already :)
-
Appreciated.
-
this fucked up i wish mannie fresh the best of luck he dont need baby. 8)
-
If baby was smart, he would dissolve Cash Money now and do his Cash Money Classics shit with all those oldie artists. At least he can still make a few dollars.
He might have to sell an escalade or two and maybe his platinum body armor.
-
My god. Damn, Cash Money had a good run. They're offically through now. Who the FUCK is gonna produce on that label now that he's gone. Like everyone else already said, he is Cash Money. Lets see the Birdman do something now :-\. I hope Mannie starts his own label and releases some more dope shit, hes always been my favorite.

Raj Smooth, Baby, Architecs, Jazzy Pha, Neptunes
Chubby Boy Records
-
i could see those producers producing for cm wont be the same though. 8)
-
Another reason this doesn't really make sense - Jazze Pha signed on to CMR as a producer after Fresh dropped his album.. Fresh himself was talking in that Scratch interview about how he wanted to work with Jazze, because he felt his formula was getting overdone. Why sign on another producer just to drop out 3 months later?

MANNIE STAYS
In true loyal fashion, Mannie Fresh is staying with Cash Money. Actually, he was never leaving. He’s started a new company called Chubby Boy Productions and is even partners with Baby. He wasn’t pleased at the way he was promoted, but that was an issue with Universal, not the CMM. Shout out to Mannie!
Guess TQ is really just bitter. ::)

Mannie Fresh Says He's Down With Cash Money, Starts New Production Company
By Houston Williams
Date: 6/20/2005 1:56 pm
In the past, Cash Money has been rocked by the departures of rappers like Juvenile, but producer Mannie Fresh isn’t one of them, contrary to rampant rumors.
“I just wanted to clear up these falsehoods that I have left my home of Cash Money Records, and that's all it is, false,” Mannie said in a statement sent to AllHipHop.com from his reps. “I have not left Cash Money Records.”
In the 90’s, Mannie was the sonic base for the multi-platinum sounds that made Cash Money Records the recording monolith it has become.
He explained that his relationship with the company transcended business and explained that he had other issues with the promotion of his debut, The Mind of Mannie.
“Baby and Slim [CEO’s of Cash Money] are my brothers. We are not blood, but those two made me famous, and very, very wealthy. You've seen artists leave this label because they were not true to their word, and they got greedy. I have always, received 100% of what was mine. I have no bad feelings towards Cash Money.”
Perhaps the rumors started with the start of his new company, Chubby Boy Productions, a production company with Baby.
“This company will cater to up-and-coming artists who want to use my services but at a lesser fee. This is not a record label but merely similar to a production company I owned in the mid-90's called Yellow Tape Music, fees will range anywhere between $5,000 and $35,000 dollars per track, $5,000 for leasing and $35,000 for exclusive rights.”

hehe, i saw it :P
i didn't lie though :P
