I certainly hope that staunch defenders of Apple's widely known iPod will accept the fact that the original iPod's battery life was a problem now that Apple has publicly announced that they will be issuing a $50 dollar refund to owners (who also have a receipt) of the original iPod. In response to websites such as www.ipodbatteryfaq.com, now would be a good time for item #5 will be amended to reflect the truth (http://www.ipodbatteryfaq.com/#5), because I have been quite angered that the website has poorly attested to the true uselessness of iPods - showing that they are at the very least marginal. The settlement came after about 12,000 users filed a class action lawsuit in complaints to the poor battery life and "convenient" shortness of the replacement warranty. Users who qualify for the refund should visit www.appleipodsettlement.com for further information. Although it's only $50 back on $100 coupled with the shame of owning a $100 expense-every-18-months MP3 player, at least it's something... right? Guys?
