While I agree there was no merit to find him guilty, except for the giving alcohol to minors. (to who ever said their Dad gave them, that's okay if your parent or gaurdian gives uou alchohol, but not anyone else), but he is hardly the nicest man in the world. THere are plenty of people who help people in need and do charitable work and don't do it with the cameras on, and these people don't outbid their close friends in auctions for songs they didn't write.
I just hope this idiots wises up and starts keeping little kids out of his bedroom. Although I blame the parents for letting it happen. If that fuck head came to me and asked if my son could spend the week withhim I'd punch his fake nose off. This dummy needs to drop the act and start acting like his real self. Yeah, that's the point. Performing, dancing, and singing is in his blood, and it's his life........ but how good has his life been? It looks to me like he's at the breaking point, you've got a man on the verge (or over the edge) of a mental collapse. He has back pain and physical aches that are probably 90% psychological (I saw on t.v. the other day when he was arraigned, he jumped on top of the roof of the car like a fucking cat, now he's walking around like his back is broken). He hasn't had a good life, he's had a fucked up life. He wants to be normal, but he always does unnormal things, and he's certainly supernaturally talented and supernaturally fascinating... perhaps to get some sort of normalcy, he'll decide to kick back and raise his kids.

When I was 10, I did just that ^. I took the tape of Motown 25, and watched that same part they're showing above, trying to figure out how the fuck he did that so cool. I finally got it down, the trick to it is it's an illusion, almost like a magic trick. Incredible talent, and he comes up with intelligent little tricks like this just naturally. He didn't 'invent' the moonwalk, he just copped it, but he perfected it. Watch his shoulders twist like he's walking forward. This man is a genius performer, there will never be somebody like that again.
Edit: P.S., I'm happy to say, when he did his concert in 2001 at Madison Square Garden, he took the stage and did a better version of Billie Jean than he did even on this tape. He does it even better now, then he did then. Brilliant performer. Watch how his hands move forward and shit, his shoulders move, his hands move, his legs move, his feet move, his mouth is snarled, his neck is straight... he dances with his entire fucking body, and doesnt' even count the steps! He just goes out there and starts moving, he claimed that this performance above was all off the cuff, he just went out with a fucking microphone and tore the house down.
