It depends on what being a sell out consists of. I always saw Cube as being a storyteller. The stories may not be gangsta gangsta anymore, but they are still stories. Same with Quik. Kurupt has put out some softer songs recently, but he still does gangsta music. Just because the mainstream has picked up on it and likes it doesn't mean they have sold out.

I can't say that Quik ever sold out. Just because you might think he strayed away from the straight up gangsta shit doesnt mean he's a sell out. Quik is a producer, mc and most importantly a true musician. He just takes his music where his heart lets him.
